00:00 Well, hi and welcome to another one of Wally's weekend drives.
00:08 You know what?
00:09 The weather's finally cooled down.
00:11 We're out here having a great time.
00:12 We're at Worldwide RV out in Mesa, Arizona on Main Street, 4660 Main Street.
00:18 But we're here checking out the Chevy Colorado, the 2023 edition of this right here.
00:23 The Crew Cab, it's four-wheel drive, it's their Trail Boss edition.
00:27 What you're going to see here, it's a real off-road vehicle with tow hooks down here.
00:32 Other than that, it's your basic truck.
00:33 I really love that about it.
00:35 Not a whole lot of fancy stuff on it, but man, I'll tell you, it works great.
00:39 It's powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder motor making 310 horsepower and 430 foot-pounds
00:46 of torque.
00:47 That's really important because we're going to be towing a trailer this weekend.
00:50 It's about the weekend drive, right?
00:51 So if you check out the 18-inch wheels right here with all-terrain tires, that's all off-road
00:56 too.
00:57 If you look inside, Grady, one thing that you're going to notice right here is the fact
01:01 that you've got a smart steering wheel right there, steering right in front of the driver.
01:06 It's got a great heads-up display in there also.
01:08 And you can see that it does have the 11.3 infotainment system in the center.
01:14 And in the center down there by the shifter, there's a round knob.
01:18 It actually has four different driving modes besides two-wheel drive, four-wheel high,
01:24 four-wheel low that we like on that.
01:25 Now if you look into the back, you know, there's not a lot back there, but there is room for
01:30 three people and there is air conditioning vents and heater vents back there.
01:34 So they did look out for people on that.
01:36 But in the short bed right back here, one thing you're going to find is a ton of tie-downs
01:41 there.
01:42 So if you're hauling a dirt bike, mountain bikes, whatever, you're going to be able to
01:44 tie it down.
01:45 Also right here, great little step to get up inside.
01:48 We really like that.
01:50 Pre-wired with a four and a seven-pin connector, all set up for trailering.

02:08 What you're going to get with all Jaycos is this tankless water heater, a full extended
02:12 length awning up above, and pass-through storage down by the front compartment there.
02:18 Let's take a step inside.
02:19 Stepping into the new 24 MRK, you see it's a very open floor plan concept.
02:24 Over here, you're going to get dual feeder seating directly facing your 32-inch LED TV.
02:29 Right next to that, there's a Bluetooth unit from IRV Technologies so that you can sync
02:34 up your phone and listen to tunes inside and out.
02:38 Along there, we have a big counter space starting from the door going all the way to the back
02:43 of the unit with these pop-top power towers that are going to allow you to plug in all
02:47 your accessories needed while you're cooking.
02:49 Next to there, we have all the Ferrari-on appliances.
02:51 This is a three-burner stove along with your 12-volt Everchill refrigerator that opens
02:56 both ways.
02:57 So, whether you're cooking in the kitchen or want a shower beer while you're in the
03:00 bathroom, you can do so both ways.
03:03 In the bathroom, you get a wide rectangle shower, which is going to give you plenty
03:08 of arm space while you're in there soaping up.
03:11 Next to that, you'll see the toilet, which gives you plenty of elbow space so you're
03:15 not all cramped back there.
03:17 In the back, this is where the Murphy bed comes in.
03:19 This is obviously a couch that can be easily folded down into a queen-size bed.
03:23 Hey, I'll tell you what.
03:25 I haven't seen a Murphy bed since I don't know when.
03:28 How cool is that?
03:29 Now, when it actually comes down, it's a queen-size bed?
