00:03 Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're counting down the most unstoppable soups on Invincible.
00:08 We're only considering characters who have a role in the story,
00:12 not those who just appear in cameos,
00:14 and we'll only be looking at heroes or heroes turned villains.
00:17 Spoiler alert for the series.
00:20 I am Samantha Eve Wilkins, and I defy you to even remember who I am.
00:28 Number 18. Darkwing
00:30 An obvious spoof of Batman, like the Caped Crusader,
00:39 he doesn't actually have any powers, just a lot of cool gadgets.
00:42 As a member of the Guardians of the Globe, Darkwing is pretty tough in a fight,
00:47 especially against other ordinary humans.
00:49 When fighting anyone super-abled like the Mauler Twins,
00:52 he relies on his hoverboard, explosives, and other tools.
00:56 He might be brave, smart, and rich, but without his toys, he's just a regular guy.
01:00 We have to give him credit for standing his ground when Omni-Man attacks the Guardians,
01:09 but unsurprisingly, he goes down pretty fast.
01:13 Number 17. Duplicate
01:15 This would be a pretty cool power to have anytime you get lonely.
01:24 Kate can make copies of herself, each of which functions as a totally autonomous being.
01:29 She's also a tough fighter and pretty resilient.
01:32 Plus, if any of her copies get killed, as long as one remains, she's technically still alive.
01:38 That means she could leave one copy at home for safety while the rest go to battle.
01:42 That said, duplication is her only power.
01:45 She and her copies can get injured and die pretty much like ordinary humans.
01:49 She's clearly a useful member of the team, but her strength is limited.
01:53 "Duplicate."
01:54 "Keep doing what you are doing."
02:02 Number 16. Rexplode
02:03 "Apologies for Rexplode. He's-"
02:06 "Unbelievably awesome."
02:07 "Incorrigible."
02:08 "And rude."
02:09 "And bored of this."
02:11 You might think that his superpower is his toxic personality, but actually,
02:16 Rex can charge objects with energy, making them explosive.
02:20 He's basically Gambit from the X-Men without the charisma.
02:23 He might be rude, obnoxious, sarcastic, and a terrible boyfriend, but he's also incredibly brave.
02:30 He hates standing by when he has the ability to help, and on top of his energy powers,
02:35 he's quick, agile, and durable.
02:37 He gets his butt kicked multiple times throughout the series,
02:40 but keeps getting back up to fight again.
02:42 We're not sure we'd want to hang out with Rex, but we'd definitely do battle alongside him.

02:49 "Blow up Rudy's charger!"
02:50 "Come on!"
02:58 Number 15. Green Ghost
03:00 "What is that beeping?"
03:01 "Uh, that's a wrap. Great work, everyone."
03:07 Also known as Alana, this photographer-turned-guardian of the globe
03:11 has the ability to become intangible and pass through solid objects.
03:15 When she swallows a mysterious amulet, her body transforms at the atomic level,
03:20 giving it its ghost-like quality.
03:22 She can also phase other people and objects by touching them,
03:25 enabling her to protect people from danger and trap villains.
03:29 She can even fly, and since she can basically become a ghost,
03:33 that makes it pretty difficult to beat her in a fight,
03:35 since enemies will literally punch right through her.
03:38 Of course, Green Ghost has to become solid again to fight back,
03:41 making her vulnerable to attack by anyone with fast enough reflexes.
03:45 "No!"
03:46 "Stay together, stay together, stay together, stay together!"
03:50 Number 14. Black Samson
03:53 An original member of the Guardians, Marcus Grimshaw once had super strength and endurance.
03:58 He loses his powers sometime before the series starts and leaves the team,
04:03 meaning he's not around during Omni-Man's attack.
04:05 Luckily for him...
04:06 "You might have been there to help the Guardians on their last day!"
04:09 "I don't know you yet."
04:11 "So I'm gonna assume that was a joke,
04:13 and I don't need to beat your ass until all you wanna do is call me 'Dad' again."
04:17 Later, with the help of an Iron Man-style power suit,
04:20 Black Samson is able to rejoin the new Guardians and provide guidance and leadership.
04:24 Of course, his lack of powers means he gets a lot of disrespect from the young team,
04:29 especially Rex.
04:30 However, Samson is so courageous and dedicated,
04:33 he tries to defend his fellow Supes even after his suit malfunctions.
04:37 Thanks to a head injury, his powers magically return,
04:40 which means he can now hold his own in a fight without the help of technology.
04:44 "I don't care how old he is, he needs to go down! Now!"
04:48 Number 13. Robot
04:52 "Based on his speech patterns and vocabulary,
04:54 the Giant seems to have the mental capacity of an eight-year-old."
04:58 Rudy Connors is one of the most interesting characters in the series.
05:02 Unlike the other heroes, his superpower isn't speed or strength, it's his intellect.
05:07 He primarily interacts with the world as a robot, but in reality, he has an organic body.
05:12 That body is small, weak, and deformed, and can't even breathe air,
05:16 so it's no wonder he keeps it hidden away.
05:19 Thanks to his genius mind, he's able to build powerful drones and other machinery
05:23 that enable him to fight alongside the Guardians.
05:26 He even gets a new body late in Season 1 with the help of the Moller Twins'
05:30 cloning technology and a little bit of Rex Flode's DNA.
05:33 "I'm a 30-year-old genius in a teenage boy's body,
05:37 with a neural link chip you just installed for me."
05:40 Number 12. Aquarus
05:44 Have you ever heard of a reverse Merman?
05:53 That's basically what Aquaman, sorry, Aquarus is.
05:57 This king of Atlantis can shoot ultra-powerful jets of water out of his hands,
06:01 strong enough to knock the Moller Twins off their feet.
06:04 He can also breathe both in the air and underwater,
06:07 and he spends most of his free time under the sea, where things seem to be pretty peaceful.
06:12 Admittedly, he does go down pretty easily in the Guardians' final fight,
06:15 but we imagine that if the battle had taken place on his home turf,
06:19 he would have a major advantage.
06:21 "How are you alright?"
06:23 "I live."
06:23 Number 11. Shrinking Ray
06:26 "Maybe we can buy him some comics or something."
06:33 With the ability to reduce her body to any size at will,
06:38 Ray has a multitude of ways she can overcome enemies.
06:40 Whether that's choking out a henchman or climbing into a bodily orifice to wreak havoc from the inside,
06:45 she's shown that she's not afraid to get dirty to defeat her opponents.
06:49 "Nothing like an ice cold brew after you've crawled through someone's inner ear."
06:53 Her power is also a strong defense mechanism,
06:56 since she can quickly shrink to avoid a punch or blast.
06:59 Unfortunately, she's not that much stronger than an ordinary human,
07:03 so when she does get hit, it's not too hard to bring her down.
07:06 Number 10. Martian Man
07:09 Anyone who can restrain Omni-Man, even for a few minutes, must be pretty strong.
07:20 This exiled alien has shapeshifting abilities just like his fellow Martians.
07:24 He's super stretchy and can even take on a sort of liquid form.
07:28 "I am fine. We did it. I never expanded myself to that extent. That was intense."
07:35 He's also ultra strong and has the ability to fly in Earth's atmosphere.
07:40 After humanity's disastrous first mission to the Red Planet,
07:44 another Martian, Shapesmith, covertly hitches a ride back to Earth with the astronauts.
07:48 Since he shares Martian Man's metamorphic powers,
07:51 he'll be handy to have around now that the former Guardian is no longer with us.
07:55 Number 9. Monster Girl
07:57 What if the Incredible Hulk's alter ego wasn't Bruce Banner but a little girl?
08:12 That's the case for Monster Girl, aka Amanda, who can transform into a massive green creature.
08:18 She's incredibly strong, but unlike early versions of the Hulk,
08:21 she retains her human intellect when she changes.
08:24 However, she has a major weakness. Because of the curse that gives her her powers,
08:35 she gets younger every time she becomes the monster.
08:38 Although she looks about 12, she's actually 24 years old.
08:42 On the one hand, this could theoretically make her immortal,
08:45 since she can defy the aging process. On the other, if she uses her powers too often,
08:51 she'll eventually be too young to be much of a hero.
08:53 Number 8. Red Rush
08:55 This hero is so fast, all his enemies see is a flash of red.
09:06 Like his DC counterpart, Joseph's not just super speedy, but also has ultra-quick perception.
09:13 That means he can react to his opponent's moves almost instantly.
09:16 But it also means it's pretty tough to keep him interested in a conversation.
09:20 Like the other Guardians, he's also extremely strong and durable,
09:33 and it's hard to imagine anyone other than Omni-Man being able to kill him.
09:36 In fact, it seems like even Omni-Man should have had a tougher time defeating the rapid Russian
09:41 than he did, which leads us to believe that his fight moves must be pretty predictable.
09:45 Number 7. Bulletproof
09:47 Zandale Randolph's powers are the product of his twin brother's scientific experimentation,
09:57 with the ability to absorb kinetic energy. He is, as the name implies, bulletproof.
10:02 He is super strong, fast enough to dodge bullets, and he heals quickly.
10:07 He doesn't even need to eat, drink, or breathe to stay alive, since he can rely on the energy
10:11 he stores in his body. And of course, like all of the coolest heroes, Bulletproof can fly.
10:17 Perhaps best of all, he doesn't take any crap from Rex.
10:20 It is possible for him to use up his energy reserves and exhaust himself,
10:32 which can immediately take him out of a fight.
10:35 That said, we're kind of wondering why Cecil didn't bring him onto the team sooner.
10:39 Number 6. War Woman
10:41 This guardian of the globe reminds us of a certain Amazonian warrior,
10:57 though she doesn't need an invisible jet to fly.
11:00 War Woman, aka Holly, uses a mace as her weapon of choice, and she is deadly with it.
11:06 There's something so satisfying about seeing her knock a villain off his feet.
11:09 She single-handedly takes on a Mahler twin, and they're not pushovers.
11:20 Like Diana Prince, she has ancient origins and a heart of gold.
11:24 She makes it her mission to look out for the little guy both as a superhero and in her day job.
11:30 Number 5. Alan the Alien
11:32 In order to get the job of planetary evaluation officer, you have to be pretty tough.
11:43 This friendly extraterrestrial travels the galaxy,
11:46 testing different civilizations' ability to fend off threats.
11:50 He flies vast distances through space without a spacesuit and without breathing.
11:54 Since he's telepathic, he can even communicate directly with people's minds.
11:58 Sure, you're the same guy I fought here three years ago.
12:02 No, I'm not the same guy.
12:03 Well, sucks to be you then.
12:05 In their first confrontation, Mark throws everything he's got at Alan, and it just makes Alan laugh.
12:11 In fact, his lovable personality is one of his best features.
12:15 In the comics, he's been known to kill Viltrumites,
12:18 so we know his strength and reflexes are truly a force to be reckoned with.
12:22 Number 4. Adam Eve
12:25 We'll fall back and form our perimeter.
12:27 Great idea.
12:28 Samantha Eve Wilkins has one of the most unique sets of powers of all the superheroes in Invincible.
12:34 The result of a government experiment, she has the ability to see molecules
12:39 and manipulate matter into anything she can imagine.
12:42 Not only can she create force fields and energy blasts,
12:45 she can fundamentally alter the environment around her.
12:48 After a night working alongside Amber at a super-spa,
12:51 Eve is inspired to use her power for more direct humanitarian efforts.
12:55 Whether that's building houses out of nothing, making crops grow, or stopping forest fires,
13:00 there's seemingly no limit to what she can do.
13:02 I see it all now.
13:03 Every single molecule around us.
13:06 I can touch them, taste them, control them.
13:10 I could rearrange your cells to make you all new people from the monsters you are.
13:14 Number 3. Invincible
13:17 Hey, shut it down or I take it down.
13:20 Make us.
13:21 You have no idea how much I wanted you to say that.
13:25 Mark Grayson takes a beating over and over again as he faces progressively more powerful
13:32 foes throughout the series, as a part Viltrumite.
13:35 He of course has super strength, durability, and flight.
13:38 But he's also a teenager who's still getting the hang of his powers.
13:41 He loses a lot of fun.
13:43 He's a bit of a pain in the ass.
13:44 But he always manages to recover from even the most brutal injuries.
13:48 No, no, no, no!
13:50 Show me what you got.
13:52 I said no!
13:54 Force, no!
13:56 Hurts my head.
13:58 As he continues to grow stronger and improve his combat skills,
14:04 he's bound to become even more unstoppable.
14:06 Someday, he may even be as strong as his dad.
14:10 For now, he's still earning the respect of his family.
14:13 He's still earning the right to be called...
14:15 Number 2.
14:22 The Immortal.
14:23 I've lined my suit with plutonium!
14:26 When in doubt, throw them into space.
14:31 Sometimes a name says it all.
14:33 Once a Celtic warrior, he's lived for thousands of years
14:37 and left his mark all over the history books.
14:39 Apparently, he was even Abraham Lincoln.
14:41 The Immortal is incredibly powerful and a natural leader,
14:45 which is why he's an obvious choice to take over the new Guardians of the Globe.
14:49 While he technically can be killed, he never stays dead for long.
14:53 Omni-Man has already murdered him twice.
14:56 Once by knocking his head off, and once by tearing him in half.
15:00 However, with the right tools,
15:01 he can be patched up and back on the battlefield in no time.
15:04 We trusted you!
15:08 You betrayed us!
15:10 You should've stayed dead.

15:58 He rarely even gets bruised in these fights.
16:00 As a son of the Viltrum Empire,
16:02 he's the product of centuries of genetic manipulation,
16:05 and he's been training as a conqueror all his life.
16:08 No matter who or what he fights, he makes it look easy.
