00:00 "Killing you is an act of mercy."
00:04 Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the most powerful heroes and villains in Invincible.
00:10 We'll be covering the comics as well as the TV show, so a major spoiler warning is in effect.
00:15 "Don't forget, I'm... invincible."
00:20 Number 10, Angstrom Levy.
00:23 "There's an infinite number of dimensions, and I was born with the ability to access all of them."
00:30 Power doesn't necessarily translate to physical strength, as our opening entry proves.
00:35 Although Angstrom Levy made his debut in the show's second season, comic readers know how problematic the villain turns out to be.
00:42 Levy has the ability to access any one of the unlimited alternate universes in existence.
00:47 Unfortunately, a botched experiment gives him the knowledge of his variants, but leaves him horribly disfigured and craving vengeance against Invincible.
00:55 "It made me a freak. I ruined everything."
01:02 In the source material, we see him easily strand others in other realities.
01:06 He even brings together multiple evil versions of the hero to start a war, all in his twisted quest for justice.
01:14 He also has some enhanced strength and durability, not that it means much to Viltrumites.
01:19 Number 9, Anissa.
01:21 "Soon our empire encompassed thousands of planets, but as our territory grew, our forces were stretched thin and our expansion stopped."
01:29 Even before knowing how evil the Viltrumite empire is, it's apparent the race is extremely strong.
01:35 The comics feature several mighty members that cause a lot of issues for the forces of good, and Anissa is one of the more heinous.
01:42 Like the rest of her race, Anissa's power levels are off the charts, and she's had thousands of years to train and fight.
01:49 Due to her strength and combat prowess, there are only a few Viltrumites she answers to.
01:54 There are plenty of feats that showcase her abilities, including besting giant monsters in seconds.
02:00 "We need to get Earth ready to join the Viltrum empire."
02:05 Number 8, Robot.
02:06 "Two and a half seconds after this sentence, three enemy tanks will align 50 degrees to your right."
02:10 The show's in its infancy compared to the comics, which ran for 144 issues.
02:16 For some of the characters, the adaptation has only scratched the surface of what they're capable of.
02:21 Rudolph Connors was born with supreme intelligence and physical differences in his body.
02:26 This led him to make a clone of teammate Rex, which he transferred his consciousness into.
02:31 "Change the... world. Experience everything."
02:37 That was just the start of his need to control an altar.
02:40 His expertise in all things mechanical is unparalleled,
02:43 even creating a device that lets him control multiple drones with his mind.
02:48 Number 7, Conquest.
02:50 "Viltrumites are very similar to humans, except we can fly, move at super speed, and possess great strength."
02:58 This particular Viltrumite is the type of guy you send when someone needs to be roughed up, to put it lightly.
03:03 When Mark first meets Conquest in the comics, he is absolutely no match for his elder.
03:08 Conquest arrives on Earth to make sure Invincible is doing his part to take over Earth for Viltrum,
03:13 and the meeting leaves the hero utterly defeated.
03:16 Because of Conquest's age, he's seen and survived a lot.
03:20 He was one of the few that survived the Scourge virus, which killed 99.9% of the Viltrum population.
03:26 "But what emerged from the ashes was unstoppable."
03:30 He also delights in using his superior strength to brutalize anyone who stands against him.
03:36 Number 6, Adam Eve.
03:37 (Adam Eve grunts)
03:42 When Adam Eve is introduced in the show, it seems she has projection powers,
03:46 able to create force fields, fly, and fire blasts from her hands.
03:51 But that is far from all she can do.
03:53 As a government experiment, Eve can alter atoms and change objects around her.
03:58 The Adam Eve special went into further detail, showing her completely changing things at will.
04:04 "You're just not made for this."
04:06 "I literally was."
04:08 (Eve grunts)
04:09 Her powers also let her manipulate the weather,
04:12 as we've seen her create a ton of resources from once barren land.
04:16 However, the most useful aspect of her powers is immortality.
04:20 While she can't usually manipulate organic matter,
04:23 her powers have let her revive from fatal wounds and even natural causes.
04:27 Number 5, Invincible.
04:29 "It's about time."
04:31 The character the series is named for, Mark Grayson, is clearly a powerful hero.
04:36 But it can be a bit hard to decipher how strong he is, since he grows more powerful over time.
04:41 Being a Viltrumite already grants him inclusion.
04:43 And he comes with the same intimidating power set as the rest of his people,
04:47 even though his mother is human.
04:49 "You're welcome. Just trying to keep the city safe."
04:52 The thing that sets him apart from others like him, though, is his spirit.
04:56 Even in the early days of the story, the show has already shown his ability to be on death's door and keep fighting.
05:02 That's how he's been able to overcome some particularly challenging foes in the comics.
05:06 "This is amazing!"
05:08 "Uh, thanks?"
05:09 Number 4, Omni-Man.
05:11 "Do you really think you can stop me?"
05:14 The secret villain Omni-Man became such a powerful force in pop culture during Invincible's first season
05:19 that he was included in the new Mortal Kombat.
05:21 In both the show and the comics, we saw him decimate an entire superhero team single-handedly,
05:27 rip through other foes like paper, and bring horrid destruction to two different cities.
05:32 "You don't seem to understand. Earth isn't yours to conquer."
05:37 The twists and turns of his character arc in the comics also see him fighting against the most powerful foes in the Invincible universe.
05:44 Although he still loses a few notable fights, Omni-Man is one of the strongest beings in the universe.
05:50 Number 3, Alan the Alien.
05:53 "I don't even know who you are!"
05:54 "Oh, you don't?"
05:56 Those who only watch the show might scoff at the Seth Rogen voice character placing so high.
06:01 Those who have read the comics, however, know Alan deserves the praise.
06:05 Alan works for the Coalition of Planets, testing heroes on their ability to defend their planets.
06:11 While his line of work requires him to be strong, that is nothing compared to what he becomes.
06:16 After losing a fight to some Viltrumites, the Coalition puts Alan in a stasis pod that not only heals him,
06:22 but increases his strength tenfold.
06:24 It puts him on a level with Viltrumites, many of whom Alan goes on to defeat.
06:29 "That is super weird for a Viltrumite. They don't just give up, they're relentless."
06:35 Number 2, Battle Beast.
06:37 "Who's next?"
06:39 "Hello, boy."
06:42 Although he's a minor character in the grand scheme of things, Battle Beast is undeniably overpowered.
06:47 He was once a hero on his planet, but the constant fighting to protect it caused him to become addicted to bloodshed.
06:53 "I was promised this world offered worthy opponents."
06:57 When Invincible first meets him, Battle Beast is only on Earth to seek a warrior worthy of his might.
07:02 He pops up periodically in the comics, if only to cause complete chaos on the battlefield.
07:07 This eventually makes him a great ally to the Coalition of Planets' fight against the Viltrumites,
07:12 though it isn't their cause he's interested in.
07:15 Viltrumites are about as strong as you can get, and so Battle Beast welcomes their fury with open arms.

07:35 Number 1, Thrag.
07:38 We shudder to think of the death and destruction this villain will bring to the show.
07:42 As the leader of the Viltrumites, Thrag is understandably powerful.
07:46 "Our most trusted officers were each given a planet to weaken by themselves. I was one of those lucky few."
07:55 He's lived for thousands of years, seen his people on the brink of extinction, and has a drive in him unlike any other.
08:02 "But I'm loyal to Viltrum, not this pathetic excuse for a civilization."
08:08 He's been the catalyst and outright perpetrator of some of the most violent moments in the comics.
08:13 While he has the same abilities as many Viltrumites, they're on a scale none of the others can touch.
08:19 He's not only the strongest of his people, he's also extremely strategic and cunning, making him a true force to be reckoned with.
08:27 "You're a Viltrumite in blood only. Well, your true education begins now."
