00:08 Yeah, Vito, real interesting contest this week. A team that comes in in the Chargers at 4-4, the Lions going out on the road to SoFi Stadium.
00:16 I'm real curious how the Lions are going to perform after the bye. You hope that early in the game there's not too much rust, the Chargers having played on Monday Night Football.
00:24 I do believe the Chargers having played a tough contest against the Jets, a physical contest, might make it a little bit easier for the Lions late in the game to execute.
00:36 I'm excited for this opportunity for the Lions to get their seventh win of the season. Being that they have such elevated goals, I do think the Lions are very hungry to try and go out and secure that number one seed.
00:48 They also want to showcase what improvements they did make. I do expect the Lions to perform better in the red zone. I expect less mistakes when they have the opportunity offensively.
01:00 We've talked about it with the coaching staff in regards to when the Lions do get in the red zone, not having plays go backwards in regards to taking too many penalties.
01:09 The situation for the Lions is advantageous this week, being that they're getting David Montgomery back, their top running back, their top offensive weapon.
01:17 I think it really bodes well for the Lions this week. When you definitely have a running back room that has Jameer Gibbs and David Montgomery, I think the Lions will have an opportunity to run the football.
01:30 The new revamped offensive line that features Graham Glasgow at right guard, I think that this offensive line this week probably has a lot to prove out on the road.
01:41 Defensively, I think that the defensive line and the secondary are going to want to continue their work in progress in pressuring the quarterback, playing good in coverage.
01:52 If the Lions defense can stop Keenan Allen and limit Austin Echler, I think the Lions have an opportunity to get this game and to blow it open maybe in the fourth quarter.
02:03 This is a game, Vito, that can go both ways. I would not be surprised if the Chargers played at a high level and really took it to the Lions.
02:11 But in the end, I think the Lions have too much talent on both sides of the football.
02:15 The key being they're very, very healthy entering into this contest. And I think this football team should leave SoFi Stadium as long as they execute, can get a turnover or two, and continue to pass rush and get to Justin Herbert.
