There are Chicago Bears numbers pointing toward definite improvement says coach Matt Eberflus, but then again the real test is Sunday in Detroit.

00:02 - During, you know, the last six games,
00:10 you know, we're three and three,
00:11 the three wins that we did have,
00:13 you know, the positivity of that was,
00:14 you know, we had zero turnovers in those games
00:16 and the turnover margin was plus five.
00:18 And that's a big reason why we won those football games,
00:20 you know, and the sack numbers were good on both sides too.
00:24 You know, so that was a good thing to look at, you know,
00:26 and then really the last six games,
00:28 if you add up the numbers, you know,
00:30 the score and defense has been really well, you know,
00:33 we've been fourth in the league during that time.
00:35 The run offense and run defense again has been,
00:37 you know, third and first in the league.
00:40 And then the third down percentages are really good,
00:42 both in the top 10 during those games.
00:44 And that was the reason why we're in.
00:47 Most of those games had a chance to win,
00:49 you know, three of those and, you know,
00:50 a chance to win the fourth and, you know,
00:52 potentially another one there as well.
00:53 But that was really good as well.
00:56 His best game of this year was the Washington game.
00:58 You certainly, you know, point back to that game and,
01:01 and man, it was a heck of a game to watch.
01:03 And, you know, he really did a nice job
01:04 of managing that game, you know,
01:05 really delivering, you know, to our skill,
01:08 letting those guys run.
01:10 And during the course of that game,
01:11 and obviously DJ was a big highlight of that,
01:13 our ability to run the ball as well.
01:14 Certainly we do that with all our injured players.
01:16 You know, the guys that are injured, that are out,
01:18 you have time to reflect, go back and look at your tape,
01:20 you know, how do you improve and look at your body
01:22 and look that you've done this thus far.
01:24 And we did that with everybody.
01:26 Everybody does that.
01:27 And that's an important part of getting better.
01:29 You know, how do you utilize your time when you're,
01:31 during injury to keep your wind up, number one, you know,
01:35 keep your conditioning level up and have the ability
01:37 to rehab that body part, whatever that is,
01:39 but also mentally really focus on your, your job,
01:42 how you can do it better.
01:44 And really it comes down to the fundamentals
01:45 and technique of your position.
01:47 And, and it's about the details of that.
01:49 You getting with your coach and partnering with your coach
01:51 to be able to get that done.
