00:12 Eagles of course just beat Kansas City.
00:15 Are you hearing any whispers when it comes to the Cowboys
00:18 as they are now at home for free stakings?
00:20 - Yeah, philosophically, and Dan Quinn,
00:22 the defense coordinator, started this.
00:24 And it was a realization of what the standings
00:27 were probably gonna look like.
00:29 And the standings in the NFC East
00:30 and the NFC do not look favorable
00:32 for the Cowboys catching the Eagles.

00:36 They trail them by two in a lot of ways.

00:41 they lost to them head-to-head,
00:43 so that puts you further behind.
00:44 And then there's this.
00:46 Going into this past weekend,
00:48 the Cowboys had five, you talk about the gauntlet,
00:50 they had five of them.
00:51 Five games in a row against real contenders.
00:54 Playing the same bundle of teams
00:57 over the course of the year,
00:58 the Eagles only had four of those teams,
01:01 so that puts them one more game up in a way.
01:03 And they just played the Chiefs
01:05 and the Eagles beat the Chiefs,
01:07 that puts them another game up.
01:09 So Dan Quinn, a few weeks ago, said,
01:11 he told his players, and then he told us this.
01:15 It's just like you're a sprinter in track.
01:17 You're Usain Bolt.
01:19 You don't look over in the other lane.
01:21 You just worry about your lane.
01:23 He said, "We're just gonna run our race."
01:26 And then a couple days later, by gosh,
01:27 I wonder where he got it, Dak Prescott said,
01:29 "Well guys, here's our thinking and the bill of that.
01:32 "We should just run our own race."
01:33 Clearly Dak got it from Quinn.
01:35 So the boss on defense said it,
01:38 the leader on offense said it,
01:39 and that's the philosophy.
01:41 I guarantee you that in their film study
01:45 or in hugging the kids or welcoming mom to town
01:47 for Thanksgiving or whatever,
01:48 I guarantee you Cowboy people watched
01:51 the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Philadelphia Eagles
01:54 and at the end said, "Son of a B!"
01:56 I guarantee you they did.
