00:00 The recent truce between Israel and Hamas has brought a glimmer of hope to the dire humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
00:05 However, Israel's non-compliance with certain aspects of the truce, such as the non-aggression towards residents of the Gaza Strip,
00:11 has complicated the hostess exchange process.
00:14 Earlier today, our correspondent Huda Hegassi commented on the impacts of Israel's constant breaches of the agreement.
00:20 We are in the third day of this truce between Hamas and Israel, which is supposed to last four consecutive days.
00:29 But Israel proceeded to breach one of the main conditions of this truce,
00:33 which states that no drones or helicopters can be introduced into the sky of the Gaza Strip,
00:38 especially in the southern area.
00:47 But since the beginning of the truce, Israel tried to introduce seven camouflaged drones into the sky of the Rafah governorate.
00:54 And Hamas military group found these drones.
01:03 And because of this, Hamas decided to postpone the release of the hostages,
01:07 which was scheduled for four p.m. local time in the Gaza Strip.
01:10 And it was postponed for two hours until 6 p.m. as an attempt to punish Israel for the breach of the truce.
01:22 On the second day, Israel also proceeded to breach the truce by preventing the entry of the number of humanitarian aid trucks that had been agreed.
01:30 It had been established that 150 trucks of humanitarian aid would enter daily to be distributed between the north and the south of the Gaza Strip.
01:38 However, only 70 trucks of humanitarian aid were able to enter the region.
01:43 And just today, these trucks have reached the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
01:47 Faced with this second breach of the truce by Israel, Hamas did not carry out the release of the hostages until approximately midnight last night,
02:02 when the Qatari and Egyptian intermediaries, after making several calls with both parties,
02:07 declared that Israel would comply with the terms and conditions of the truce.
02:17 However, on this third day of the truce, Israel also proceeded to violate one of the most important clauses of the truce,
02:23 which prevented Israeli soldiers from proceeding to carry out any military act in the Gaza Strip.
02:30 But early today, Israeli soldiers proceeded to fire live bullets at two farmers in the center of the Gaza Strip,
02:36 killing one of them while the other is in serious condition, and he was transferred to the Maris of Al-Qasa Hospital.
02:42 In addition, yesterday, at approximately 2 p.m., Israeli warplanes proceeded to bomb a young man,
02:53 who was also in the center of the Gaza Strip, with an F-16 missile.
02:57 This was another breach of the terms of the truce, so it's uncertain how the hostage exchange would proceed today.
03:10 This morning, both Hamas and Israel proceeded to publish the list of the people who would be released.
03:21 Israel released 39 Palestinian prisoners, of which 33 are women and the rest are children,
03:28 while Hamas released 13 Israeli hostages.
03:31 But due to the circumstances, it is not known how the hostage exchange will proceed or if it's going to be carried out,
03:49 because Israel has failed for three days to comply with the terms of the humanitarian truce.
03:55 Israel has failed for three days to comply with the terms of the humanitarian truce.
