00:00 [MUSIC PLAYING]
00:03 I mean, I think a lot of it is being comfortable with the calls,
00:21 being comfortable with--
00:22 it's hard to emulate, again, that type of environment
00:25 when it's a must get a stop and things like that.
00:29 I think our coaches have done a great job of trying
00:30 to put us in those situations and trying
00:32 to give us at least a little sneak peek of what we could see.
00:36 And again, our coaches work hard in game planning those things.
00:40 They try to give us the toughest looks.
00:41 But again, they got good coaches, too.
00:43 So there's going to be some things
00:44 that you haven't seen on film and things like that.
00:46 But that's where our rules and what we're doing is big time.
00:48 So making sure we're all on the same page with those things
00:52 is our biggest takeaway.
00:53 I mean, yeah, I think, again, obviously,
00:56 the first couple of games in a new scheme and things
00:58 like that, you're still trying to get your feet wet.
01:00 And I think you can say that for a lot of our guys.
01:03 But I think just the general rise of our team
01:06 is guys just going out there and just putting on the line.
01:08 There's no holding back anything.
01:11 And I think as linebackers, you always
01:13 want to be around the ball, no matter where it is,
01:15 whether it's near the sideline, in the middle of the field,
01:17 or run pass, you always want to get to the ball.
01:19 I think that's something I pride myself on.
01:21 And like the Minnesota game, Jalen Johnson
01:24 makes a great play and swats the ball up near.
01:28 And sometimes you've got to be just in the right spot,
01:30 trying to get to the ball, and good things will happen.
01:33 But I would attest that to our defense as a whole,
01:36 rising up to the challenges coming up,
01:38 as well as offense and kicking.
01:40 Again, I mean, he is everything that you thought he was,
01:42 for sure.
01:43 And like I said, I've seen him for four years before this.
01:45 I already knew what type of player he is
01:47 and the dynamic piece he brings.
01:50 But honestly, I think having him,
01:52 having the offense just kind of have to maybe lean
01:54 some things more towards him, it's helping our whole unit.
01:58 And last week, we were able to do a little more rushing cover
02:00 and things like that.
02:01 And they were getting pressure easy.
02:03 So it was definitely something good to see.
02:05 And I think our back end's doing a good job of holding up
02:07 and making the quarterback hold the ball for a second.
02:09 So it's, in my opinion, it's a defensive stat, those things,
02:12 just because we've got to hold things up in the back end
02:14 and let those guys go.
02:15 And they're doing a heck of a job of getting there.
02:17 But yeah, I'm definitely happy he's here, no doubt.
02:19 (upbeat music)
02:22 you
