Mama June's Daughter Anna 'Chickadee' Cardwell Dead at 29

00:04 Mama June's daughter, Anna Chickadee Cardwell, has died.

00:11 The reality star died after battling cancer, stage 4 adrenal carcinoma. At the time of Chickadee's

00:23 diagnosis, her sister Alana, aka Honey Boo Boo, shared a message with fans. "You never truly know

00:31 what somebody is going through at home." "I'm trying to be strong, you know. I did it for

00:35 myself and I did it for everybody." Chickadee first appeared on her family's reality show

00:41 Here Comes Honey Boo Boo in 2012. "Chickadee, she's 17, she's pregnant with her first grandchild."

00:48 That first grandchild is Kaitlyn. She's also got a younger daughter, Kylie.

00:53 "You know, I dropped down and got my GED. Well, I'm very, very proud on her because she's staying in school."

01:29 falling out with her mom after Mama June reportedly rekindled her romance with ex Mark McDaniel,

01:35 a convicted sex offender who Ana says molested her when she was eight years old. "The 10 years

01:41 she served in prison, was that because of the allegations you made or was it because of the

01:46 allegations someone else made?" "The allegations I made." "So he went to prison because of what I said,

01:52 because you said he molested." "Yes." Back in 2014, Ana spoke exclusively to ET about her claims.

02:00 "Mama never seen any of it. You know, there was times when Mama was there and he, you know,

02:04 gave me that look and, you know, you know, so every now and then touched my leg and Mama would never see it.

02:10 You know, Mama was either turned the other cheek or in the kitchen or something like that,

02:14 but Mama never seen that." "He was that bold to do things to you when your mother was there." "Yeah,

02:19 and the main stuff that happened was whenever Mama was at work." "Did he tell you not to tell?"

02:31 she loves him?" "I think Mama still has feelings for him and, you know, because that was, I said,

02:36 however, that was Mama's first love and that would always probably be Mama's first love."

02:46 featured on her social media. Chickadee took a break from Instagram last year. Her most recent

02:52 post was in July 2022, but she returned to the app in March, sharing a selfie alongside a caption

02:59 that read in part, "Your girl is back." "I put my name up there for a reason and that was my reason.
