A 17-tackle day by a safety is unheard of but Chicago Bears safety Jaquan Brisker did it and he thinks he can do even more for the team.

00:02 - Yeah, they said 18, but you know, that's fine.
00:09 That's what the coach said, but we'll see.
00:11 I'll have to count them.
00:12 I didn't actually count them up myself,
00:13 but yeah, really good.
00:16 You know, he was beating guys to the punch.
00:18 I love his aggressiveness.
00:19 If he was dropping in, you know,
00:21 from the higher part of the field, you know,
00:23 to be a, you know, in single high,
00:25 or just coming down from a shell,
00:27 whatever the shell covers were playing,
00:28 and being able to react to the run that way too.
00:31 So, did a really good job with that.
00:33 His instincts and his passion really showed up,
00:36 and that's what, that's who he is.
00:39 And he's an aggressive guy,
00:40 and he does a really good job, you know,
00:42 at tackling, and his instincts are down.
00:44 He does bring that, and he is passionate, you know,
00:47 and it's always exciting to watch him do that.
00:49 And, you know, he's always right next to me
00:51 at, we would do the national anthem, you know,
00:53 so we always lock arms,
00:54 so he, I can feel his energy right there.
00:57 So he's a special guy.
00:59 - Yesterday wasn't my perfect game.
01:01 No, I still had a drop interception.
01:04 I probably could have had another interception
01:06 later in the game to end it off.
01:08 And I feel like when I beat the running back,
01:12 I probably could have been quicker to get that strip sack,
01:14 but Jaylin ended up getting an interception anyway,
01:16 so I feel like I'm just getting there,
01:19 but I'm not where I want to be.
01:20 - And just 'cause, you know, we came in,
01:23 and, you know, they wanted us to turn it around,
01:26 and I'm one of those guys that they brought in,
01:28 you know, very early to do that.
01:30 Me and Kyler started off with the new coaching staff,
01:33 so, you know, just coming in, just focusing on
01:35 changing this thing around,
01:38 changing the secondary, you know, changing the whole team.
01:41 You know, it's always been important to me,
01:42 and especially the lead, and getting my foot in the door
01:44 was very important, and show who I am as a player,
01:47 who I am as a leader, and who I am on and off the field
01:50 was always important to me,
01:51 and to get this, you know, the Chicago thing
01:54 into a winning direction.
