Bears coach Matt Eberflus gave QB Justin Fields some goals to achieve and so far they're looking difficult to achieve on a weekly basis.

00:02 - I think, you know, Fluce talked to me about it
00:09 maybe three or four weeks,
00:11 I think before I came back actually.
00:12 But yeah, he gave me a thing, said 200,
00:15 which is, you know, two touchdowns,
00:18 no sacks and no turnovers.
00:19 So, you know, that's pretty much my goal every game.
00:21 And, you know, sacks, they don't, you know,
00:25 put us behind the sticks, of course.
00:26 And then, you know, you never want to turn the ball over
00:28 to give the other team a short field.
00:30 So definitely trying to, you know,
00:31 try to put up at least 28 points a game.
00:33 And, you know, that usually gets it done,
00:36 you know, for our defense.
00:38 So, I mean, yeah, usually put up 28 points,
00:41 take care of the ball and execute third down in goal zone.
00:44 Yeah, should have a good game.
00:46 But of course you don't want to put a cap on that number
00:48 to however many points you can score or want to score.
00:51 But I mean, yeah, we go in with the goal every game
00:53 to at least score.
00:54 'Cause I feel like we could have scored more
00:56 if I were to throw a better ball to Khalil on that pick.
00:59 You know, that was a potential touchdown there.
01:01 And, you know, I think we could have 21 points
01:04 the first half, you got to score more than six points
01:06 in the whole second half.
01:06 So, you know, we left more out there.
01:08 So just cleaning up those details and focusing on,
01:11 you know, sustaining that, you know,
01:12 hot start throughout the whole game.
01:13 - Just a little bit of complacency, but, you know,
01:17 we've had too many instances this year where, you know,
01:20 we've had a lead and given it up.
01:21 So I don't, I don't know.
01:23 That'd be a question for, you know, everybody on the offense.
01:25 I'm not sure, but, you know,
01:26 my job is to stay on those guys and, you know,
01:29 make sure we're focused on each and every detail,
01:31 each player out there.
01:33 So, you know, my goal is to try and score every drive.
01:35 So, but yeah, if I do see that low in the offense
01:39 and everybody else, I just try to get everybody up
01:41 and I'm just trying to get them to, you know, reset
01:44 and be able to, you know, just start the game,
01:46 how we started last game.
01:47 So, yeah, but like I said, we're working on that
01:50 and, you know, trying to sustain that hot start
01:53 that we had last week.
01:54 So just starting that way every game
01:56 and then being able to sustain that through.
01:57 - We got too much to focus on today to worry about tomorrow.
01:59 I got to worry about this new game plan I got,
02:01 the play calls and, you know, like I always say,
02:04 we don't know if we're going to get it tomorrow.
02:06 So there's, there's no point in stressing about tomorrow
02:08 if we, if we don't know it's not going to be here yet.
02:10 - I mean, like I always say,
02:10 I can always improve in, you know, areas, you know,
02:13 I'm not perfect at anything.
02:14 To be honest, I have a lot, a lot of work to do.
02:17 So, you know, that work's going to be put in
02:20 and it's going to be done.
02:22 So excited for, you know, this, this Sunday,
02:24 this matchup we have against Atlanta.
02:26 Again, I guess the talent's the defense and, you know,
02:28 everybody's getting ready for it.
02:29 So it's going to be fun.
