00:21 In Surah Al-Ma'idah, we are faced with guidance from Allah SWT on how to maintain and manage victory.
00:29 And when given the blessing of victory in this life, the Children of Israel are still reminded not to forget the land, use the blessing for the struggle.
00:40 We will continue the review in this episode.

01:05 I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
01:11 The Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of Allah and His beloved."
01:34 Allah Almighty has spoken the truth
01:42 [Prayer]
01:54 How are you ladies?
01:56 We meet in My Quran Time Quran.
01:58 Salat Imfaq to you today.
02:00 Together we review page 111 and 112 of Surah Al-Ma'idah.
02:06 Today we are with our guest panel, Prof. Madia Dr. Sanusi.
02:12 How are you?
02:13 Alhamdulillah, I am fine.
02:14 Welcome to our new set.
02:17 I am surprised.
02:19 He has a colourful shirt.
02:22 I thought it was a coat.
02:24 It is a bit of a scent.
02:27 And the one who is wearing a coat is Dr. Sanusi.
02:30 Yes.
02:31 Alhamdulillah.
02:33 We are happy to have Dr. Sanusi with us today.
02:36 We would like to read and study the Quran today.
02:42 With our prayer, "Subhanak Allah, ilma lana illa ma'allam tana, innaka antala 'alimul hakim rabbi izzidini ilma."
02:51 Let us look at the 18th verse.
02:55 "Waqalatil yahud wa nasara"
03:00 The Jews and Christians say, "Nahnu abna Allah wa ahibba'uh"
03:05 They declare themselves, feel that they are the children of God and are loved.
03:12 Dr. Sanusi, when you did your PhD abroad, you met with the Jews and Christians.
03:20 Do they still have this understanding or is it only in the past?
03:29 Thank you, Ustaz Fazrul and Ustaz Termizi.
03:32 This is an interesting question.
03:34 I will tell you my personal experience first.
03:37 What is the understanding or belief of non-Muslims about their religion?
03:48 I spoke to my supervisor.
03:50 He said that the British, which was done in the UK, had gone through a post-religious period.
03:57 This means that they no longer believed in religion.
03:59 I once drove to the BBC radio station and heard an interview about their belief in religion, the Bible, heaven and hell.
04:08 Until a questioner called.
04:10 He said that if heaven really existed, he would die now.
04:14 This means that these things do not exist in their view.
04:18 This is an evolution.
04:21 An evolution that changes the human understanding.
04:23 In my opinion, they believed that they were the children of God or that they had a relationship with God and humans.
04:34 The concept of Trinity or the divine element to humans is actually in their understanding.
04:41 I remember a sheikh who said that when he read this verse, he brought the Bible along.
04:47 He brought the Old Testament and the New Testament.
04:50 He said that it is mentioned in the book of Johanna.
04:54 There are several chapters that mention that they believed that they had a lineage or that they had a relationship with God.
05:04 Some even said that their prophet was sent to God.
05:10 This is one of the elements of their belief in humans.
05:16 In the Arabic language, it is called 'Lahut wa Nasud'.
05:19 If I am not mistaken, there is an element of humanity and an element of divinity.
05:23 It is applied and integrated into their understanding.
05:27 It is one of the elements of the divine in their own view.
05:32 In the context of this verse, according to the narration of Ibn Kathir, Rasulullah came to preach to the Israelites.
05:43 We want to understand why he was willing to state that he was the son of God and he was the one who was loved by God.
05:53 There are several contexts that we can take.
05:56 One of them is mentioned by Imam Alusi, who stated that they felt that they were loved by God.
06:05 I took this in several categories.
06:08 First, when we relate ourselves to our father, sometimes he brings us glory or glory.
06:15 For example, Ustaz Tirmizi.
06:17 His father is a Dato'.
06:19 When he argues with me, he says, "My father is a Dato'.
06:22 "I am the son of a Dato'".
06:24 I feel a little down.
06:26 I am down.
06:28 He feels a sense of dignity and glory when he says, "I am the son of a Dato'.
06:34 "Who are you?"
06:35 The father and son's relationship gives him strength.
06:40 When Rasulullah called him, he said, "Why are you trying to scare us?
06:44 "We are the children of God.
06:46 "We are the ones who want to portray His glory.
06:49 "Like I said, we are the Dato' or we are the noble descendants."
06:54 This causes him to be against Rasulullah himself.
07:00 Secondly, when he says, "I am the son of Allah",
07:02 he is actually portraying protection.
07:08 Protection means that Allah will not destroy us.
07:12 Because we have protection from people who are very close and love us.
07:17 For example, if we see someone trying to hit us,
07:21 we say, "I am calling my father".
07:23 "I am calling my father. I am like a kid now. Like Pir Ramlee."
07:26 "This is your father's head. This is your father's head."
07:29 But that is the dialogue.
07:31 He wants to portray that he has a position.
07:34 Secondly, he says, "There will be protection from that."
07:38 Interestingly, Sheikh Tauntawi summarizes all of this.
07:42 Sheikh Tauntawi said, "This is actually no different.
07:44 "The Jews try to imagine from their glory and protection,
07:49 "they imagine that they are the chosen people.
07:52 "We are the chosen people.
07:55 "We are close to Allah. We have Allah's protection.
07:58 "We do not need to fear and follow the da'wah that was conveyed by Rasulullah SAW."
08:03 Interestingly, what is actually considered,
08:07 their words are contradictory.
08:09 Because if we see in Surah At-Tul-Baqarah,
08:12 he himself admitted, "We will not enter hell except for a few days."
08:18 He admitted that he can be punished.
08:21 But he has a twist.
08:23 "We are the children of Allah. We will not be punished."
08:26 In his other dialogue, he knows that he will enter hell.
08:29 And he said, "If I enter hell for a few days, I can be punished."
08:32 His words are contradictory.
08:34 And he knows that if we see in the next page,
08:37 they will be forbidden.
08:39 Meaning that they have been punished by Allah.
08:41 Then Allah answered them,
08:43 "If you are the people that Allah loves, why did Allah punish you?"
08:48 He admitted that he has been punished.
08:50 And his own experience has been punished.
08:53 So, this is actually a twist.
08:55 Or their words are like a weapon.
08:58 They are taking revenge on their da'wah.
09:01 Even though they are willing to do so,
09:04 it is because of their excuses to protect themselves
09:07 rather than following the da'wah of Rasulullah SAW.
09:11 Thank you for your answer, Dr. Sanusi.
09:13 The answer from the Jews and Christians is a weapon of revenge.
09:19 They use their weapons of revenge.
09:22 But it is not consistent in Surah Al-Baqarah,
09:25 as stated in Surah Al-Ma'idah.
09:27 And this is a guide for us.
09:29 In our lives, we need to have a justification.
09:33 And of course, without a doubt, the Quran is the only one.
09:37 If we use our own justification,
09:39 even if we use our own reason,
09:41 sometimes it is not consistent in the court of the losers.
09:44 The world's court has not yet reached the "Akhirat wa ilaihil mawsil."
09:49 We will continue our discussion, our re-study.
09:52 But we will take a break.
09:54 By Quran Time, Quran Salat and Fard.
