00:07 I am Varsha Iyer. Today I am going to tell you about Jeevan Amrit which is in your kitchen.
00:14 So let's take a step towards health.
00:17 So what is Jeevan Amrit?
00:22 Jeevan Amrit is Chyawanprash.
00:26 Now you must be thinking that this is a brand. But friends, this is not a brand.
00:31 There was a sage named Chyawanprash who created Jeevan Amrit, according to me Jeevan Amrit.
00:42 He lived more than 100 years and till the time he lived he was completely healthy.
00:48 He did not have any disease and he was looking very young.
00:53 So friends, that is why I am calling it Jeevan Amrit.
00:58 Take 1 kg Amla. Boil the Amla well.
01:03 After boiling, the seeds of the Amla will be separated.
01:08 After it cools down, mix it well in a mixer grinder.
01:13 Be careful that no seeds remain in it.
01:16 Then add 250 gms of jaggery.
01:25 If you want more sweetness, you can use more jaggery.
01:30 Keep 1 bowl of ghee aside.
01:33 After this you have to make a masala.
01:35 In the masala you have to take 50 gms of cashew nuts, 50 gms of almonds, 50 gms of raisins, 50 gms of dates, 1 small bowl of fennel powder, 10-12 cardamom and 10-12 cloves.
01:57 In this you have to take coconut. Grate the coconut and keep it aside.
02:05 And make the rest of the ingredients in a mixer grinder.
02:09 The ghee that you have taken out from the mixer grinder, put that ghee in the kadhai and let it melt.
02:17 After that you have to add the grinded Amla and roast it.
02:24 After that, you have to keep roasting the jaggery that you have taken out.
02:31 Roasting means you have to keep stirring.
02:34 It will turn black in a while, like chawanprash.
02:38 It will turn black, then you have to mix the masala that you have made in it.
02:44 And stir it well.
02:46 After stirring it for 5 minutes, you can turn off the gas.
02:51 After turning off the gas, stir it a little more so that it does not stick to the kadhai.
02:56 After it cools down, keep it in a dry jar.
03:02 After that, you feed your children every morning.
03:07 You also eat, feed your elders too.
03:10 And see, you will not have any disease.
03:15 Your immune system, as I told you before, will increase.
03:20 So if this increases the immune system, you will not have any disease.
