00:13 The 100+ international social organizations convened around the urgent need for nations
00:20 to invoke the Genocide Convention as a way to end State of Israel's devastating campaign
00:25 in the occupied Palestinian territories. In this way, the rights organizations condemned
00:30 South Africa on its application to the International Court of Justice invoking
00:37 the Genocide Convention against Israel. They also urged other countries to reinforce this
00:43 complaint by immediately filing a declaration of intervention with the ICJ.
00:53 In this context, the organizations signing the letter released call for an immediate suspension
00:59 of the military operations and the implementation of all measures to prevent genocide.
01:04 Among the over 100 organizations promoting the initiative are Black Alliance for Peace,
01:10 the Palestinian Assembly for Liberation, Popular Resistance, Code Pink,
01:14 and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Memorial Center in Cuba.
