00:10 - Welcome to the Oasis Safiya

00:15 in the Medne province, Al-Qasim region in Saudi Arabia.

00:28 - It's a perfect place for a road trip.

00:30 On board the mythical Ford 1.8 liter,

00:33 it's one of around 50 cars.

00:35 During the winter, we go out together

00:41 in groups of two or three, depending on the weather.

00:43 We visit various sites and destinations.

00:46 - The club brings aficionados together

00:52 as they share their love of motors and adventure.

00:58 - We've arrived 350 members with more than 500 cars,

01:08 including classic and historic vehicles,

01:12 as well as some custom models.

01:26 - These 1.8 liter pickups date between 1948 and '69

01:31 and roamed the roads of Saudi desert.

01:34 At the time, these cars were used for all kinds of travel,

01:38 especially during pilgrimages.

01:39 Today, they're used more for passion and leisure.

01:57 I bought it 30 years ago.

01:59 The engine has changed, but everything else is original.

02:07 So I've tried to keep it as it was.

02:16 their own trips to the desert.

02:18 People often ask me for photos behind the wheel.

02:21 I enjoy these moments,

02:22 seeing them with big smiles on their faces.
