00:00 In Haiti, activists denounced and condemned the misrepresentation of the Caribbean nation in Western media.
00:06 Our collaborator Danny Shaw spoke with leaders of the regional coordination of the Southwest Organizations of Haiti,
00:14 and this is what they had to say.
00:16 From the perspective of the global capitalist powers,
00:23 we confronted them. We stood up to their world order.
00:29 So what did they do?
00:31 Every time Haitians stand up, they fight against us.
00:35 They fear our example of humanity.
00:39 They control the world already.
00:43 Haiti is dangerous to them.
00:46 That is why they accuse us of being savage and violent, to disrespect us.
00:52 We don't produce drugs. We don't kill and pillage.
00:57 That is a small minority. 5% of the world controls everything.
01:00 And what about the other 95%? How do we survive?
01:04 They brainwash us to think we are guilty for the downfall of Haiti.
01:08 No, no, we are not responsible. Our national essence is one of solidarity.
01:14 In this context, Michael Darcis expressed that Western countries are the real terrorists,
01:20 since they are the ones in charge of producing and selling weapons all over the world.
01:26 The world knows we do not produce these guns and drugs.
01:30 They made us into a "trashism point" for guns and drugs.
01:34 Let's look at who the real savage barbarians are, who destroy our lives through violence.
01:40 It is not the oppressed countries responsible for this.
01:43 It is the West. It is the capitalist countries that produce this barbarism.
01:47 Since 1492, they pretend to be "discoverers" when they are seen.
01:52 ARC.
