00:09 I've lived here my whole life. I think when I first finished school, so around 2010,
00:14 I felt I had a bit going for it, but nowhere near as much as what I had now.
00:18 And I think a lot of my friends and stuff come back and can't believe the scene here,
00:22 the cultural scene, so in terms of your cafes, your restaurants, all that sort of stuff.
00:29 It's just a really liveable city. And you go down to Melbourne and it takes you an hour to get five kilometres,
00:36 whereas here everything's within 10, 15 minutes. It's just so accessible.
00:41 I think it's just a really liveable city.

00:52 I don't think we particularly need to change too much.
00:56 I think the beauty of Ballarat is, like I said before, the liveability and that it still feels like a country town.
01:02 It's a big country town now and of course it's going to grow and develop
01:08 and there's going to be inner-city developments going on.
01:11 But I just wanted to maintain that accessible feel where you can drive across the city
01:16 within 20 minutes and get from wherever you need to be.
01:19 I think that's our biggest drawcard. I think all the other stuff looks after itself.
01:24 But I think it's just about the people that we attract to the city.
