Ep 2: Marmalade Bravo. Not deterred after the last unfortunate incident involving Marmalade Atkins work experience, Wendy Wooley decides to give her a job at the local police station. But Marmalade's enthusiasm is soon dampened when she is given menial tasks, leading to her to suggest various ways in which they could improve policing in the area that can only end one way...
Starring Charlotte Coleman, John Bird, Carol MacReady, Elizabeth Estenden, Stratford Johns, Richard Moore, Prentis Hancock, Robin Parkinson, Charles Dale, Neil Conrich and Louis Mellis. The makers for this follow up series seem to of realized that this was supposed to be a kids show, so the humour is more slapstick than satire at first - so no rubber stamp initiation for Marmalade here - but it still hits the mark in it's summing up of modern policing that is worryingly accurate today. Maybe the powers that be saw this episode and thought that's how it should be run? Who knows!
