Ep 10: Shame. In the last ever episode, Marmalade Atkins has exhausted all the YTS initiatives, so is sent to the USA to enrol in the New York School for Big Heads and Show-offs. While there she meets a variety of colourful students, but discovers that the school is short of money and being leaned on by gangsters. Unfortunately for her, they get to hear that Marmalade comes from a wealthy family and decide to kidnap her and hold her to ransom. But it doesn't go according to plan...
Starring Charlotte Coleman, John Bird, Carol MacReady, Elizabeth Estenden, Danny John-Jules, Jim Carter, Lou Hirsch, Albie Parsons, Pauline Thomson, Michael Sundan, Tracie Bennett, Rene Alperstein, Gregg Butler, Jackie De Pesa, Andrie Reid and Howard Samuels. This concluded the series and involved spoofing what was a huge hit on TV at the time, Fame. Whether you can tolerate the cast bursting into song or not at times is up to you, but it does hold interest for a number of well known faces before they found fame, including Jim Carter (Downton Abbey's butler) as a hood and Danny John-Jules actually playing a character called Cat 4 years before Red Dwarf. Other faces you may recognize are Tracie Bennett (Coronation Street's Sharon Gaskell) and Renee Alperstein (Pamela Cartwright in Grange Hill 1980-82).
