00:00 There's a trend at the moment for freeze-dried sweets and I've seen on
00:04 TikTok that you can freeze a bag of Skittles for two to three hours and then
00:08 pop it in the tumble dryer for a couple of minutes and you'll get your own
00:12 freeze-dried sweets at home.
00:14 Okay I've got the Skittles out of the freezer, they are as you'd
00:17 expect freezing cold, they've been in there for about three hours. Now they're
00:21 gonna go in the tumble dryer for a couple of minutes on high. So let's do that.
00:31 This tumble dryer doesn't like having that in it, I think it does it in a way and it's too
00:42 light so I've had to wet some tea towels and see if we can actually get this
00:45 tumble dryer to do a proper dry. So this is the big reveal, I've got it out of the
00:51 tumble dryer now because it started to smell funny and I was worried the plastic was
00:54 melting but the tea towel trick worked. So I'm gonna open these up and pour them
01:00 in the bowl and let's see. I can tell already that nothing's happened.
01:07 They sound the same, they're the same size, they're still cold. I don't think they were in the
01:14 tumble dryer long enough. What a disappointment but I wasn't
01:20 prepared to leave them any longer because of the smell. What I'm gonna do
01:23 is I'm gonna try put them in the microwave and I'm gonna improvise and
01:26 see what we get. Right in it goes, wish me luck.
01:33 And that has gone horribly wrong. So all in all it's been a disaster, wouldn't
01:41 recommend. Not as easy as they make it look on TikTok at all.
