00:04 The effects of the two weather systems in our country are still ongoing.

00:08 First is the gradually increasing north-east monsoon here in Northern Luzon,

00:14 where the temperature will drop and the rain will weaken.

00:18 While in the remaining part of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao,

00:21 the weather is still hot and humid,

00:24 it is still like Easter Leaves or the wind from the east, particularly the Pacific Ocean.

00:29 Based on our latest satellite animation,

00:31 we do not see any weather disturbance that will enter our parks in the coming days.

00:36 For today, we still expect cloudy skies,

00:40 accompanied by light rain in the provinces of Batanes and Cagayan,

00:44 along with Amihan.

00:46 While here in the remaining part of Cagayan Valley and the provinces of Apayaw,

00:50 Calinga, Mountain Province and Ifugao,

00:52 spartic cloudy to cloudy skies,

00:54 there is also a chance of light rain along with Amihan.

00:58 While in the remaining part of Cordillera Region,

00:59 Abra, Benguet and the entire Ilocos Region,

01:02 the chances of rain are still low and the weather is usually sunny,

01:06 like in Amihan.

01:08 For our fellowmen in Aurora and the northern part of Quezon,

01:11 partly cloudy to cloudy skies,

01:13 but the rest of Central Luzon and Calabarzon, Metro Manila,

01:16 plus a large part of Southern Luzon,

01:18 is fair weather conditions,

01:20 partly cloudy and often sunny,

01:23 there is also a chance of light rain,

01:26 especially in the southern portion of Quezon and Bicol Region.

01:30 For the regions with the hottest temperatures,

01:33 here in Metro Manila, it is up to 33 degrees Celsius,

01:36 while in Tuguegarao City and the remote mountainous areas,

01:39 it is still cold,

01:41 while in Baguio, it is between 17 to 25 degrees Celsius.

01:45 For our fellowmen in Palawan, Western Visayas and Central Visayas,

01:51 fair weather conditions,

01:54 the weather is also sunny, especially in the morning and afternoon,

01:56 while here in Eastern Visayas,

01:58 partly cloudy to cloudy skies,

02:00 and there is a chance of light rain from afternoon to night,

02:03 especially in the Eastern Samar and Southern Leyte.

02:06 Our actual temperatures are between 31 to 32 degrees Celsius

02:10 when the afternoon arrives in a large part of Visayas and Palawan,

02:13 but the heat index that we call or the body feels hot,

02:17 it is possible to play between 39 to 41 degrees Celsius

02:22 here in a large part of Palawan,

02:24 Panay Island, especially in Iloilo and Capiz,

02:26 and also in Eastern Visayas.

03:20 always drink plenty of water or stay hydrated,

03:22 and if you cannot avoid going out of the house between 10 am and 3 pm,

03:26 bring a heater, like sunscreen, umbrella, or hat.

03:31 Now, due to the heat,

03:33 the waves are gradually increasing here in Northern Luzon,

03:36 up to 3.4 meters, or on the floor of a building,

03:41 which is dangerous for small sea vessels and fishermen.

03:45 And over this weekend,

03:48 the northern part of Luzon, plus Aurora,

03:50 Baybay of Quezon, Bicol Region, and Eastern Visayas,

03:54 will be affected by the sea waves,

03:56 so those who have sea travels,

03:58 especially those who cross Bicol Region and Quezon,

04:00 should be careful of high sea waves.

04:03 And the Baybay of our country,

04:05 is affected by high sea waves,

04:08 and will allow our sea vehicles to sail.

04:15 the north-east monsoon will pass,

04:47 or this will be the boundary of the Easter Lees,

04:49 plus the Amihan,

04:51 so be careful of possible floods and landslides,

04:53 especially in the Camarines Provinces and Catanduanes.

04:57 For our countrymen in Visayas,

04:59 for the next three days,

05:01 it will still be Easter Lees,

05:03 or the wind from the Pacific Ocean will be blowing.

05:05 It means that it will still be hot for the next three days.

05:07 The chance of rain will be low in many places,

05:09 in the western and central portions of Visayas,

05:11 and it will still be hot,

05:13 possible between 38 to 41 degrees Celsius.

05:16 So if the house will still be outside in the afternoon,

05:20 drink plenty of water to avoid heat stroke or heat cramps.
