00:00 Good morning to all of us. We are here with a weather update for Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

00:06 At present, the weather systems are still affecting some parts of our country.

00:12 The wind is blowing from the northeast monsoon is affecting the extreme northern Luzon area.

00:18 Meanwhile, the easterly winds are still blowing from the Pacific Ocean in the far-flung parts of our country.

00:26 If we look at the satellite image, we can see that there are thin clouds that are affecting the central Luzon, Calabar Zone, and Metro Manila area.

00:36 It is possible that today, there will be some rainfalls mostly in the eastern sections of the central and southern Luzon area.

00:43 Meanwhile, the clouds that we can see will most likely last until this morning and will be clear by the afternoon.

00:51 In the northern part of our country, we can also see some clouds that may affect the northern part of Mindanao area.

00:59 It is also possible that there will be some rainfalls and landslides in some parts of Mindanao.

01:04 For the rest of the country, we can't see any thick clouds that may bring rain in the afternoon in any part of our country.

01:13 So generally, we are still in fair weather conditions today, except for the isolated chances of rain.

01:20 We also don't have any low-pressure areas or storms inside and outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility.

01:26 The weather conditions will be good today, as seen in the satellite image, over areas of Aurora and Quezon.

01:34 It is possible that there will be scattered rain showers or thunderstorms.

01:39 Meanwhile, the weather conditions in the northern part of the Luzon area will still be clear.

01:45 The only chance of having weak rains or landslides is different.

01:50 In the northern part of the Luzon area, the isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will still continue.

01:57 As seen in the satellite image, the clouds that may affect some parts of the Luzon area will most likely be clear by the afternoon.

02:10 For the temperature, average maximum temperature in the surrounding cities,

02:15 here in the Luzon area, will be around 31 to 32 degrees Celsius, while the temperature in Baguio will be around 14 to 25 degrees Celsius.

02:24 Let's now go to the eastern part of our country.

02:28 As we said earlier, it is possible to experience rain showers, mostly in the eastern sections of Mindanao.

02:34 In the Caraga and Davao region, it is possible to have scattered rain showers.

02:38 Meanwhile, the weather conditions in the eastern part of our country will still be clear.

02:44 In Palawan, Visayas, and the rest of Mindanao, the only isolated rain showers are in fair weather conditions.

02:52 The temperatures in our region are mostly around 31 to 32 degrees Celsius maximum,

02:58 although there is still a chance of 33 degrees Celsius maximum temperatures in Zamboanga.

03:05 In the sea, we do not have a gale warning.

03:09 We are just being careful of the gale warnings in the northern Luzon and the southern part of our country

03:15 because our sea conditions are in the moderate rough.

03:18 So we are still expecting the possibility of sea gales.

03:22 Until Friday, when the weather conditions in Metro Manila, Baguio, and Legazpi will be better,

03:31 it is possible that the effects of wind and rain will be stronger in the southern Luzon.
