00:00 The problem with their plan, and they've got a lot of plans that are problematic,
00:04 they don't have that many draft picks.
00:07 So you start pinpointing, well listen, we're going to take a defensive tackle in the first round,
00:11 we're going to take a linebacker in the second round,
00:13 we're going to take a running back in the third round.
00:15 And we're going to get an offensive tackle.
00:16 And oh yeah, an offensive tackle.
00:18 So you start locking yourself into needs in the draft, and that's a bad idea.
00:22 Now, in terms of tackle and center, you've talked to a couple of the guys
00:26 in your video visits pre-Amaranthus, guys who could absolutely be drafted here at 24,
00:34 and start at center, for instance, your fellow depth friend.
00:38 Jackson Powers Johnson.
00:39 That's a great example.
00:40 One of the funniest interviews of all time.
00:41 Absolutely.
00:42 Also a great tech.
00:43 He's turned Ferguson.
00:44 So there's one guy.
00:47 Now, how do you fill all those cowboy holes, as you just said, we just went offensive line,
00:53 maybe center and tackle, linebacker, defensive tackle, wide receiver, running back?
01:00 That's five of them.
01:01 Well, the Cowboys don't have enough picks to go draft starters in all those spots.
01:06 In fact, last year, they were hoping to get first line players in their first and second
01:10 round pick, and they got Mozzie Smith, who did not turn out to be a top of the rotation
01:14 guy, and they got Schoon, the tight end, who is not a top of the rotation guy.
01:19 So to think that all the answers are in the draft, you're going to get an aneurysm by
01:24 thinking that too hard, because it's not going to happen.
