00:00 We are back with the nicest guy I know, Hugh Jackman.
00:02 Over the years, I've talked about many things on this show,
00:04 but there are definitely some that, well, stand out.
00:07 I know that 'cause you guys tell me all the time.
00:09 So we did a little informal poll.
00:10 Today, Hugh is gonna help me unveil
00:12 the top three Dr. Oz favorites.
00:15 You ready?
00:15 I'm ready.
00:16 Are you scared?
00:17 No, should I be?
00:18 You should be, all right.
00:19 Are you ready?
00:20 The number three Oz favorite is,
00:23 ooh, the Neti Pot.
00:27 The Neti Pot.
00:29 So, have you ever tried Neti Pots?
00:31 I've done it once before,
00:33 the Broadway thing where I had something,
00:35 this up the nose, yeah.
00:36 It's good, all right, you ready to go?
00:38 All right, see, it's gotta be warm water, obviously,
00:40 otherwise it feels like you're drowning in the pool.
00:41 A little salt in there.
00:42 Hang on, hang on, just remind me, so.
00:44 You pour it in the right nostril.
00:45 Yep.
00:46 And then it's gonna come out your left nostril.
00:48 Don't move 'til it comes out,
00:49 and you gotta hit the bowl, are you ready?
00:52 Okay.
00:53 You can't block the nose, it's gotta come out.
00:53 Of course.
00:54 All right, go.
00:55 Oh.
00:57 (audience laughs)
00:59 Here it comes, where's yours?
01:00 Oh, there, both coming out.
01:00 Oh, yes.
01:01 Oh, yeah.
01:02 (audience cheers)
01:05 Oh, he's got it, he's got it.
01:06 And we're done.
01:09 Whoa.
01:10 (audience cheers)
01:11 (laughs)
01:12 That's good.
01:12 Whoa.
01:15 Oh, that feels good.
01:17 Oh.
01:18 (audience laughs)
01:19 Woo, woo.
01:20 Oh, you're happy, what was that like for you?
01:22 Awesome, I should do that more often.
01:24 Cleans the sinuses pretty good.
01:26 Exactly.
01:26 I should've done that before picking my own shot.
01:28 Yes, but now we have both, they're gonna go together.
01:30 Yeah.
01:31 Metabolites, all right, are you ready?
01:32 By the way, now I am frightened.
01:34 (laughs)
01:35 It's getting worse.
01:36 Oz favorite number two is.
01:39 Ooh.
01:41 Oh.
01:42 (audience cheers)
01:44 Purple gloves, my friend.
01:45 I was about to say, please tell me we're not eating this.
01:47 So, I've seen Hugh with a shirt off,
01:49 and he actually has none of this in him,
01:52 but this is called the omentum.
01:54 So, you go ahead and pick that up.
01:55 The omentum is the fat pads under the skin in the front.
01:58 Now, normally it's supposed to be very thin,
02:00 almost like pantyhose.
02:01 You see, I can sort of see through that.
02:03 Yeah.
02:03 All right, now you hold that one up.
02:04 Okay.
02:05 This is what happens if you're not eating right.
02:07 This becomes your omentum.
02:09 Wow.
02:10 Literally the same tissue.
02:11 Wow.
02:12 Hang on, this is the actual stuff?
02:13 This is it, this is the real, this is someone's omentum.
02:16 Wow.
02:17 They passed away, and we used our organs to teach,
02:20 so that's a thin person's omentum.
02:21 Same exact person, if they put on 30, 40 pounds,
02:24 would have something like this inside of them.
02:26 Wow.
02:27 Feel that, I mean, it is ponderously big.
02:28 Wow.
02:29 Have you ever been heavy?
02:31 Once for a film I had to do that got canceled a week before.
02:35 Oh, gosh.
02:36 I really enjoyed getting heavy.
02:38 Come on back over here, and we got the last one.
02:40 We have the number one Oz favorite.
02:43 You stay on that side.
02:44 Sorry, man, I'm getting rid of this.
02:45 We're gonna reveal those together.
02:46 Okay.
02:47 All right, are you ready?
02:48 Yep.
02:49 Let's do the honors, straight up.
02:50 It is.
02:50 Oh!
02:51 (audience cheering)
02:52 Yeah!
02:53 This is important.
02:55 It's the Bristol Stools chart.
02:57 This chart actually doctors use
02:59 to audit what's coming out of our body.
03:02 I know Hugh's fascinated by this,
03:03 but see these little pebbles here?
03:04 Yeah.
03:05 That's not what you want coming out.
03:06 Well, this was my last week.
03:07 Seven days.
03:08 Seven days to whole thing?
03:09 Yeah.
03:09 You don't wanna be on this end here.
03:11 This is sort of the, not gold standard, we'll say,
03:13 like a bar shape, but here's the thing.
03:16 Yep.
03:16 It obviously is telling you about constipation
03:18 or loose bowels, but what it really could tell you,
03:20 if you looked at it,
03:21 is all the things that's coming out of your body.
03:22 Now, I have to ask, do you look after you go to the bathroom?
03:26 A little.
03:27 (audience laughing)
03:29 Occasionally.
03:30 I wouldn't say religiously, no.
03:33 Do you have a good ear?
03:34 You do, right?
03:35 Yeah.
03:36 You're a singer.
03:37 All right, so we're gonna do it.
03:37 So I want you to close your eyes.
03:39 Okay.
03:40 And I'm gonna play what you might hear in the bathroom.
03:42 All right?
03:43 And you tell me which one sounds like you.
03:44 Okay.
03:45 Are you ready?
03:46 Does it sound like this?
03:47 (gulping)
03:51 Or does it sound like this?
03:53 (gulping)
03:55 Or is it more like a diver hitting the water in Acapulco?
04:02 Oh, that's a beautiful, that's the one.
04:04 That's it?
04:05 That's the one.
04:06 That's the one, it's the four.
04:07 That's the one.
04:07 Huge yo, thank you so much for coming on.
04:10 Now I want you to think of me next time you go to the bathroom.
04:12 I will.
04:13 Every time.
04:14 And I'm reckoned.
04:15 I'm gonna love it.
04:16 Thank you for watching.
