00:00 Good morning from the Weather Forecasting Center.

00:03 This is our update on the weather forecast for the next 24 hours.

00:09 Yesterday, the official declaration of hope was that the Northeast Monsoon season will end.

00:15 This is due to the continuation or the effect of the Easter lease

00:20 or the hot wind from the Pacific Ocean to a large part of our country in the next days.

00:26 And for the next 24 hours, due to the Easter lease, we will experience rain in the northern part of Luzon.

00:34 Meanwhile, here in Metro Manila and in the southern part of our country,

00:37 the weather we expect is more clear, hot and foggy with a chance of rain,

00:43 with a slight drizzle and localised thunderstorms.

00:48 And for the weather forecast for today here in Luzon,

00:53 due to the Easter lease, we expect scattered rain with drizzle and foggy weather

00:58 in the eastern section of Luzon, particularly in the provinces of Aurora, Quezon and Camarines Norte.

01:06 We have observed some rain in the areas of Calabarzon and Bicol Region.

01:14 These rains are just a temporary event.

01:16 Before the afternoon comes, we expect that the weather will be clearer.

01:22 But if the afternoon comes until the evening, we will still bring an umbrella

01:26 because we can still experience the chance of afternoon rain showers or localised thunderstorms.

01:33 And for the northern part of Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao,

01:39 generally, we expect fair weather conditions, hot and foggy weather.

01:44 And this afternoon, we have observed some rain with thunderstorms in the eastern Visayas.

01:52 These rains are just a temporary event.

01:54 The weather will be clearer before the afternoon comes.

01:59 We still have a chance of rain showers with thunderstorms,

02:04 from the afternoon until the evening in Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.

02:12 And for the sea, there are no high-level warning gales in any of the islands.

02:18 But we still have to be careful with our fishermen,

02:23 especially in the eastern section of our country

02:26 because we can still experience the coldness until the sea level rises.

02:31 And for our 3-day extended weather outlook in the neighboring cities of our country,

02:36 for the next 3 days, in the majority of the Luzon,

02:42 the wind from the Pacific Ocean is still the weather system that we will experience or expect.

02:48 And because of the Easterlies, on Tuesday, March 26,

02:52 we expect the chance of a scattered rain with thunderstorms.

02:57 The chance of rain is high in the Bicol region on Tuesday.

03:03 But generally, we will experience the fire weather conditions in the majority of the Luzon for the next 3 days.

03:10 Temperature forecast for Metro Manila for the next 3 days,

03:14 it's possible to play from 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.

03:17 14 to 24 degrees here in Baguio City and 24 to 32 degrees Celsius in Ligas P.C.T.

03:25 In the areas of Visayas, for the next 3 days, starting tomorrow, Sunday until Monday,

03:31 a large part of the eastern Visayas in the Tacloban City area,

03:35 because of the Easterlies, we still expect the chance of scattered rain showers or thunderstorms.

03:41 The chance of rain is high in the next 2 days.

03:46 But by Tuesday, we expect improving weather conditions in the mentioned area.

03:52 Rest of Visayas for the next 3 days,

03:54 we expect the weather to be clear, hot and sunny, aside from the chance of localized thunderstorms from Sunday to Thursday.

04:03 Temperature forecast for Metro Cebu for the next 3 days,

04:07 it's possible to play from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.

04:11 26 to 32 degrees here in Iloilo City and 25 to 31 degrees Celsius in Tacloban City.

04:20 In the areas of Mindanao for the next 3 days,

04:24 here in Davao Region, starting Monday, because of the Easterlies,

04:29 the chance of rain showers is high.

04:33 We expect improving weather conditions on Tuesday in a large part of Mindanao.

04:39 Generally, we expect fair weather conditions in most of these forecast areas.

04:45 Temperature forecast for Metro Davao for the next 3 days, it's possible to play from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.

04:52 24 to 32 degrees here in Cagayan de Oro City and 24 to 35 degrees Celsius in Zamboanga City.

05:02 The main day here in Manila will be hot later at 5.58 in the morning and low later at 6.07 in the afternoon.
