00:00 At least 60 people were killed and 145 wounded when camouflage-clad gunmen opened fire on
00:11 concert goers near Moscow on Friday.
00:14 Several gunmen began shooting civilians who were cowering in the Krokus City Hall just
00:18 before Soviet-era rock group PIKNIK was about to perform.
00:22 All the tickets in the 6,200-seat concert hall had been sold out.
00:27 State news agency RIA reported that the roof of the venue was collapsing and around 100
00:33 people were evacuated from the basement.
00:35 "We saw a re-enactment, there were a lot of wounded.
00:39 Now the fire has begun.
00:41 I saw it, when they were shooting, I saw it.
00:48 Can you roughly count how many people were wounded?
00:51 I can't.
00:52 Is it a dozen or ...?
00:53 It's more than a dozen.
00:54 No, it was far away, we were in the farthest corner, we saw only a lot of people, but there
00:59 was no panic, everyone was walking calmly.
01:01 And people threw themselves into the hall and fell?
01:03 Everyone was calm, someone sat down, someone went out, everyone was calm, there was no
01:08 panic, no one was afraid of anyone."
01:10 The attack was Russia's deadliest since the 2004 Beslan siege, where Islamist militants
01:15 took over 1,000 hostages.
01:17 It was not immediately clear who the gunmen were, but Islamic State has claimed responsibility.
