00:00 Let's take a look inside the 2024 Polaris RZR XP4-1000 Ultimate.
00:05 We're going to run down the spec sheet on this machine and show you exactly what all those numbers mean.
00:09 The XP4-1000 Ultimate is $29,999.
00:14 We're going to start with the engine.
00:15 This is a liquid-cooled 999cc parallel twin that makes about 114 horsepower.
00:20 That engine is paired with Polaris's PVT.
00:23 That's a CVT with park, reverse, neutral, low, and high.
00:27 The XP4-1000 also has true on-demand all-wheel drive or two-wheel drive that's selectable in the dash.
00:33 Now let's talk dimensions, figure out exactly which trails this machine will fit on.
00:37 We're talking 64 inches wide total.
00:40 It's also 147.8 inches long from tire to tire.
00:43 It's also 75 inches tall.
00:46 You can put 300 pounds in the box and there's a 900 total pound payload capacity.
00:51 Dry, Polaris says this thing weighs 1,901 pounds.
00:54 This machine has a 9.5-gallon fuel tank.
00:58 It's good for pretty much a whole day of riding.
00:59 And because this is a four-seater, you're looking at 117-inch wheelbase and there's about 14.5 inches of ground clearance.
01:06 While we're down here, let's talk brakes.
01:08 You get four-wheel hydraulic discs.
01:10 The XP4-1000 uses a square wheel and tire setup.
01:14 That means they're all the same all the way around the rig.
01:16 These are 30x10 14 Trailmaster XT 2.0s.
01:21 All right, now let's talk suspension.
01:23 Up front, you get two-inch Walker Evans needle shocks.
01:26 They're 2.5-inch in the rear.
01:28 Both are 16-way adjustable.
01:30 Up front, this machine uses a AA arm design with about 16 inches of usable wheel travel.
01:35 And in the rear, you get a trailing arm setup with about 18 inches of wheel travel.
01:39 The best things about the XP4, there are plenty of tie-down loops.
01:42 There's one here, two on either side in the rear, and two up front.
01:45 You also get this nice handy soft shackle, easy recovery point.
01:49 We're going to start moving inside in just a second, but we're going to take a look at this bed first.
01:52 There are four tie-downs here.
01:54 Very nice, big drain hole in the rear.
01:57 The XP4-1000 comes with full doors front and rear.
02:00 Inside, you get four bucket seats, really nice retractable harnesses.
02:04 The front seats slide fore and aft.
02:06 The driver gets a tilt steering wheel.
02:08 There's also a lot of storage in here.
02:10 Two cubbies up top, a glove box down low, cup holders front and rear.
02:15 Plenty of power options, too.
02:16 There's also an auxiliary power port.
02:18 You can either use that to trickle charge the vehicle, or you can use it for something like heated gear.
02:22 Dash layout is super simple.
02:24 There is no gauge cluster in front of the driver.
02:26 There's just this big screen in the middle.
02:28 Just 7-inch Ride Command TFT display.
02:31 It's touch capacitive, works with gloves.
02:33 It's excellent.
02:34 Each floorboard comes with excellent grip, lots of places to put your feet for extra stability.
02:39 This is the Ultimate, which means that it comes with the Rockford Fosgate 3.0 audio.
02:44 Really banging system.
02:45 The Ride Command also features a rear-view camera.
02:48 Ultimate trim also comes with a poly roof.
02:50 That's a closer look inside the 2024 Polaris RZR XP4-1000 Ultimate.
