00:30 Your most beloved Ulema, Mufti Muhammad Suhail Rizwan Jani Sahib, Mufti Asad Nabi Niazi Sahib,
00:35 and after a long time, once again, your most beloved Professor Dr. Muhammad Ahmad Qadri Sahib.
00:40 He is here with us. I wish the best for all three of you.
00:43 I told Dr. Sahib that I wouldn't be able to work without you. Now I want to show my love for you.
00:46 This is how it is. This is true.
00:48 This is how it is. May Allah grant you peace. May Allah grant Dr. Sahib peace.
00:51 And may I say one thing, Salman brother, the Ulemas whose testimonies,
00:55 which are in the Hadith, and the truth about the Holy Prophet (pbuh) are interceded for.
01:00 No doubt.
01:00 They will be rewarded.
01:01 May Allah bless you. May Allah bless you.
01:03 Your humility, your generosity, and MashaAllah, you are the light of the gathering.
01:07 May Allah keep you safe.
01:09 Dear viewers, today, inshaAllah, we talked about the daily topics of trade,
01:13 and other topics as well.
01:16 We tried to understand the true meaning of Ramadan, the spirit of Ramadan.
01:22 What are the meanings of worship?
01:25 Because life is a life of worship.
01:28 And if a person came to worship, how can he worship?
01:31 We have been telling you about this throughout Ramadan.
01:36 Today, I want to talk about, since we are in the last ten days,
01:39 the ten days of freedom from hell.
01:40 And I will start with the Hadith, that the Holy Prophet (pbuh)
01:45 obviously prayed a lot.
01:47 "Our Lord, grant us a good life in this world, and a good life in the Hereafter, and save us from the torment of Hellfire."
01:53 I see this being said in all three ten days.
01:56 "Fid dunya hasana" meaning the ten days of mercy.
01:58 "Wa fil akhirati hasana" meaning the ten days of forgiveness.
02:01 "Wa qina adhaban naar" meaning the ten days of freedom from Hellfire.
02:05 So, the ten days of freedom from Hellfire,
02:07 includes the Taqraat, the prostration for the worship of Allah,
02:11 the Qayamul Layl, and the day of fasting for the sake of Allah.
02:15 Allahu Akbar.
02:16 May Allah count us among those who are freed from Hellfire.
02:19 The first question regarding the Taqraat, I will ask Mufti Muhammad Sohail Azamzadi.
02:23 What is the legal status of the Taqraat?
02:26 And in light of the Holy Quran, explain to me,
02:28 why are the Taqraat necessary?
02:31 How important are they? What should be done?
02:33 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
02:35 O Allah, bless our master Muhammad and his family and companions.
02:44 Yes, Salman bhai, this is the last ten days.
02:48 And in the last ten days, people do I'tikaf.
02:53 And there is a reason for doing I'tikaf,
02:57 which the Holy Prophet (pbuh) has stated.
03:02 This hadith which I am going to narrate,
03:05 is a hadith of Mishkat.
03:08 And Imam Bukhari has also quoted it.
03:12 He says, "Inni i'tikaftul ashar al-awwala"
03:16 I did I'tikaf in the first ten days.
03:21 So I searched for the night of Qadr.
03:24 But I did not find the night of Qadr in the first ten days.
03:28 Then he says, "Thumma'a'tikaftul ashar al-awsat"
03:33 Then I did I'tikaf in the middle ten days.
03:37 So I searched for the night of Qadr in that too, but I did not find it.
03:41 Then he says, "Thumma'a'tikaftul ashar al-akhir"
03:46 Then I did I'tikaf in the last ten days.
03:50 So he says, "In this I searched for the night of Qadr,
03:53 and in this ten days, I found the night of Qadr in the last ten days."
03:58 And he says, "Now whoever among you does I'tikaf with me,
04:02 he should do I'tikaf of the last ten days."
04:06 Yes, yes, yes.
04:07 So one thing is that in the last ten days,
04:10 I'tikaf of Sunnat-e-Muqada,
04:12 which we call Sunnat-e-Muqada, Al-Al-Kifaya.
04:14 Al-Al-Kifaya.
04:15 Okay.
04:16 That if a few people do it in the neighborhood,
04:18 then it becomes a sin.
04:19 And if no one does it, and everyone leaves,
04:21 then they are still sinners.
04:23 So what was the purpose of this I'tikaf?
04:25 To search for a night as great as the night of Qadr.
04:29 That night of Qadr, "Laylatul Qadri khayrun min al-fishaar"
04:33 Which is better than a thousand months.
04:36 So that night of Qadr, which is hidden,
04:39 is hidden in the last ten days of Ramadan,
04:44 which the Prophet (pbuh) has clearly told his Ummah.
04:51 In the nights of Taq.
04:53 So in the nights of Taq,
04:55 we should understand that this Taq is of great importance.
04:59 Yes.
05:00 See, Allah (swt) in the Holy Quran,
05:03 in Surah Fajr, said,
05:05 "Wa-sh-shaf'i wal-watr"
05:08 I swear by the Jufs and Taq.
05:12 So here, Taq and Jufs,
05:15 are the common meanings.
05:17 1, 3, 5, and 2, 4, 6.
05:21 So 1, 3, 5 are Taq.
05:23 And 2, 4, 6, 8 are Jufs.
05:27 But the second meaning that the commentators have taken,
05:30 is that Taq means the oneness of Allah (swt).
05:35 So it is one, right?
05:36 It is the oneness of Allah.
05:38 Then you see,
05:40 that He has made the earth and the sky together.
05:45 "Sama'a Samawati Antibaqa"
05:47 Then you see, that Allah (swt)
05:50 has the cycle of Tawaf together.
05:54 So this means that in the Taq,
05:57 Allah (swt) has kept blessings.
06:00 And the name of Allah (swt)
06:02 is also famous in 1999.
06:05 So in the Taq, there is some blessing.
06:08 Now this is,
06:10 the Quran has stated that
06:13 it is the oath of Taq and Jufs.
06:15 But today, science will research on this,
06:18 what does Taq mean, what does Jufs mean,
06:21 and what is the status of Taq in this universe.
06:25 So where there is so much blessing,
06:27 then there, the night of Qadr,
06:29 which is better than a thousand months,
06:31 this is also hidden in the Taq.
06:33 Now here, Imam Razi Al-Rahma
06:36 writes in his commentary,
06:38 a very strange and strange thing,
06:40 that Allah (swt) has kept some things
06:42 hidden in some things.
06:44 And has also stated its wisdom.
06:46 For example, Allah's will,
06:49 in His obedience,
06:51 so that man does every good deed,
06:55 his will is attained.
06:57 His anger in sins,
06:59 so that man is saved from the smallest of sins,
07:02 and is kept away from Allah's anger.
07:05 Similarly, prayer,
07:07 acceptance in prayer,
07:10 so that man keeps on making arrangements for prayer,
07:13 so that in any moment,
07:15 Allah (swt) accepts.
07:17 Similarly, acceptance of repentance in repentance,
07:20 so that man does not hesitate in repenting,
07:22 never does,
07:23 keeps on repenting,
07:24 and at any time, he is accepted.
07:26 He has hidden his pious servants among his common people,
07:30 he has hidden his saints among the common people,
07:34 so that man considers everyone better than himself,
07:37 respects them,
07:38 and God knows what Allah (swt) has given him in his charity.
07:41 And in the same way,
07:43 he has kept the night of Qadr,
07:45 hidden in the last ten nights of Ramadan,
07:49 so that man,
07:50 in other days,
07:51 if it is not possible,
07:53 then it is not possible,
07:54 but in the last ten nights of Ramadan,
07:57 he must worship,
07:59 and attain Allah's pleasure,
08:01 and when Allah (swt) grants his pleasure,
08:04 then he grants the night of Qadr.
08:06 Subhanallah, Mufti sahib, very good.
08:08 Mufti Hassan Naveed Niazi sahib,
08:10 these Nafli prayers,
08:12 of specific days,
08:13 of specific nights,
08:16 and of specific moments,
08:18 so can you give us some instructions regarding this?
08:20 What is the prophecy in the Holy Quran and Sunnah regarding this?
08:22 Should we follow these prayers?
08:24 Or not?
08:25 In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
08:27 Peace be upon the Prophet, Muhammad and his family and companions.
08:29 First, understand that
08:30 whenever Allah (swt) is worshipped,
08:32 it is good.
08:33 Because the purpose of man's creation is the real worship.
08:38 "I have not created the jinn and mankind except to worship Me."
08:44 In Surah At-Tur, it is said that
08:45 "I have not created the jinn and mankind except to worship Me."
08:49 When the purpose of man's creation is the worship of God,
08:53 then what is the point of man always worshipping Allah?
08:57 So, one should worship Allah in the same way.
09:00 Worshiping Allah is good.
09:02 Now, let's come to the second aspect.
09:04 The second aspect is that
09:05 are there any special times, days, time, and places?
09:10 Of course, there are.
09:11 It is proven from the Holy Quran.
09:13 Allah (swt) has said in the Holy Quran,
09:16 "We have revealed it on the night of blessings."
09:24 So, this is a special night,
09:25 which Allah (swt) is calling the night of blessings.
09:28 The special night of blessings is proven from the Holy Quran.
09:31 "We have revealed it on the night of Qadr."
09:34 "We have revealed it on the night of Qadr."
09:36 The special night of Qadr is proven from the Holy Quran.
09:41 And the explanations for the night of Qadr,
09:44 one explanation is that
09:46 the word of Allah is revealed on this night,
09:49 which is the Holy Quran,
09:51 so that is why it is the night of Qadr.
09:52 The second explanation is that
09:53 the worship of this night is the worship of Qadr
09:56 compared to other worships.
09:58 This explanation is also there.
09:59 Allah (swt) is specifying it.
10:01 He is specifying it and telling us that it is the night of Qadr.
10:04 So, the special time of blessings,
10:08 the special time of blessings is proven from the Holy Quran.
10:11 And it is also present in the Hadith.
10:13 And the style of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is also that
10:16 he used to worship like this.
10:18 "Qaana nabiyu sallallahu alayhi wa sallam yaskuru rabbahu kulla hayani"
10:21 Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) used to mention Allah all the time.
10:25 "Kulla hayani" means the plural of "hayani"
10:27 "Kul" is an addition to it.
10:28 It is the benefit of straightening.
10:30 He used to mention Allah all the time.
10:32 So, sometimes it is mentioned by the tongue,
10:34 sometimes it is mentioned by the heart.
10:36 The tongue is always connected to Allah.
10:38 So, he used to do it all the time.
10:39 But in the time of goodness,
10:41 the worship of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) increased.
10:45 It is also mentioned in the Hadith of Bukhari Sharif.
10:48 When the month of Ramadan used to come,
10:50 Hazrat Jibreel-e-Ameen (a.s) used to come
10:52 and used to recite the Holy Quran with the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
10:57 And when he used to come and recite,
10:59 there are words mentioned in it.
11:00 "Qaana Rasoolullahi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
11:02 "Ajwada bil khairi min al-reehil mursala"
11:05 The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) used to be so good in his good deeds
11:10 that he used to be more generous in his good deeds
11:13 than the winds that blow fast.
11:18 He used to be generous.
11:19 That is, in the month of Ramadan.
11:20 When Jibreel-e-Ameen is coming and meeting,
11:22 the time of the Holy Quran is passing,
11:24 then the superiority of that particular time and period was proven.
11:28 And in that, the change in the style of action of the government
11:31 was also evident.
11:32 The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) used to worship anyway,
11:35 but in special occasions, the style of worship of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
11:39 was more...
11:40 Although, every style of worship of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is superior.
11:42 I am talking about the gesture of worship of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
11:48 was more visible for the education of the Ummah.
11:51 Otherwise, the beloved of Allah is always,
11:53 every moment is subhanallah.
11:54 Every moment of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is superior than the previous moment.
11:57 "Wa laa aakhiratu khairullaka minal oolaa"
11:59 Every moment of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is superior than the previous moment.
12:02 He is always on the journey of the highest.
12:05 The sentence of the Holy Quran is "Yawman fa yawman anan fa anan mutarakkihain"
12:11 "Anan fa anan"
12:12 Even at that time, in his outward life,
12:15 even after the command of Allah,
12:17 "Anan fa anan, yawman fa yawman"
12:20 There, progress is progress.
12:21 The rise is the rise.
12:23 So, the style of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was like this,
12:25 and the style of the righteous predecessors was also like this.
12:29 The style of the righteous predecessors,
12:31 in the month of Ramadan, what was their style?
12:34 The statement of Imam Shafi'i is mentioned that,
12:37 apart from the prayer, in the month of Ramadan,
12:39 he used to finish 60 verses of the Holy Quran.
12:42 The statement of Imam Adam Abu Hanifa is mentioned that,
12:45 apart from the prayer, in the month of Ramadan,
12:47 he used to finish 60 verses of the Holy Quran.
12:51 The statement of Imam Muhammad bin Ismail Bukhari,
12:53 the leader of the believers in Hadith,
12:54 the statement of him is mentioned that,
12:56 he used to finish one verse of the Holy Quran in the month of Ramadan.
12:59 The statement of Hazrat Aswad bin Yazid,
13:01 may Allah have mercy on him,
13:02 he is a great person,
13:03 he used to finish one verse of the Holy Quran in the month of Ramadan,
13:05 in every two nights.
13:07 The statement of Imam Qatada is mentioned that,
13:10 he used to finish one verse of the Holy Quran in the month of Ramadan,
13:12 in every three days.
13:13 These are the great righteous predecessors,
13:15 in the month of Ramadan,
13:16 and I am mentioning the recitation of the Holy Quran,
13:19 because the night of Qadr,
13:21 is a special occasion,
13:23 with the Holy Quran,
13:24 and the Furqan-e-Hameed.
13:25 When Allah has mentioned it,
13:27 he has mentioned it by saying that,
13:28 we have revealed this Holy Quran,
13:30 in this night of Qadr.
13:31 We have revealed this Holy Quran,
13:33 in this night of blessings.
13:35 This is a special occasion with it,
13:37 that is why the righteous predecessors,
13:38 were associated with the Holy Quran,
13:39 in the month of Ramadan.
13:41 The month of Ramadan,
13:42 which was revealed in it.
13:44 This is a special occasion with Ramadan.
13:46 The great Imam Zuhri,
13:47 when he used to come in the month of Ramadan,
13:49 he used to leave all the work,
13:51 the worship,
13:52 and used to hold the Holy Quran.
13:54 He used to be there,
13:55 and the Holy Quran was there.
13:56 He used to mention it,
13:57 and used to encourage people.
13:59 Imam Shafi said one thing,
14:01 that in the month of Ramadan,
14:03 along with the worship,
14:05 the charity,
14:06 the abundance of it,
14:08 should be done,
14:09 in the beginning of the life of the Prophet,
14:11 that the kindness of the Prophet,
14:13 which has been mentioned,
14:14 that the Prophet used to say,
14:16 more kindness than this,
14:18 that is why in the beginning of the life of the Prophet,
14:20 in the month of Ramadan,
14:21 the kindness should be done,
14:22 the charity should be done,
14:23 and the concept of worship of Islam is vast,
14:25 reading the Holy Quran is also a worship,
14:27 reading the prayer is also a worship,
14:28 fasting is also a worship,
14:29 reading the Torah is also a worship,
14:30 doing charity is also a worship,
14:32 rather,
14:33 whatever is done for the sake of Allah,
14:36 and keeping the Dariyat of the Shariah,
14:38 all those things are a worship.
14:39 What a great thing, Mufti Sahib,
14:40 Mashallah,
14:41 Allah the Almighty,
14:42 has specified it,
14:43 has specified it,
14:45 that is,
14:46 the importance and status of any specific day,
14:48 any specific night,
14:49 or any specific place,
14:51 or anything,
14:52 has its importance and status.
14:54 So,
14:55 there is no need to go into anyone's words,
14:57 listen to the experts,
14:59 follow them,
15:00 and if you can deliver by listening to the min and the an,
15:02 then this is also good.
15:03 Inshallah,
15:04 we will also take live telephone calls,
15:05 during the break,
15:06 and after the break,
15:07 and I have a question for Doctor Sahib,
15:09 Inshallah,
15:10 after this break.
15:11 So,
15:12 the questions of your live telephone calls
15:13 will be collected during the break,
15:14 you can call us,
15:15 and I will meet you in front of you,
15:16 after a short break.
