07:01 Subhan Allah, Subhan Allah, may you live long.
07:03 You have presented the program in a beautiful way.
07:08 Let's start the discussion.
07:10 Allama said, "We are certain of the fact that we are the conquerors of the world."
07:16 "And we are certain that you are the one who is unaware of the truth."
07:20 Great people are certain.
07:23 "And we are certain of the fact that you are the one who is unaware of the truth."
07:27 They are never disappointed by the mercy of Allah.
07:30 So how important is certainty for the character?
07:33 And how does being disappointed and being disappointed create a void in the character?
07:40 Please guide us in this regard.
07:42 In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful. Thank you.
07:45 Doctor, you have started with Allama's words.
07:52 I will also say something in reference to Allama.
07:55 In the name of Allah.
07:56 Allama Iqbal spoke beautifully about certainty.
08:06 He says, "Our belief of the Ahl-e-Sunnah"
08:12 "is that the saints do not die."
08:17 "They move from one place to another."
08:24 "Generally, those who do not believe, use the word 'movement'."
08:31 "This means that they move from one place to another."
08:36 The question is, when a person is in the category of "Kullu nafsin zaikutul mawt"
08:45 then death comes, so how do you say that they do not die?
08:50 One thing is that "Kullu nafsin zaikutul mawt" does not mean that everyone dies.
08:57 It means that every soul has to taste death.
09:02 Right.
09:03 There are two things here. One is that we do not want to taste death.
09:07 We want to taste death.
09:09 The second thing is that we want to taste death.
09:12 It is not much.
09:14 If we enjoy it, if we see the government with death,
09:18 then it remains alive and tastes it again and again.
09:23 This was a related thing.
09:26 Allama has said this in reference to
09:30 "Jana ke bakhshand, digar na ghirand"
09:36 The life that is given is not taken back.
09:39 If you give something to someone, it is not appropriate for you to take it back.
09:44 The thing that Allah has given is not taken back.
09:47 Then how does a person die?
09:49 "Aadam bameerad az bayyaqeeni"
09:52 People are of two types. Some are believers and some are disbelievers.
09:57 The disbelievers are dead here and there.
10:00 The believers are alive here and there.
10:03 Subhanallah.
10:06 It is very difficult to understand the meaning of "Tawakkal"
10:11 It does not mean that you should give up your efforts and sit down.
10:20 But the people of Allah try and work hard
10:24 and then they trust the results of their efforts.
10:29 How important is it to highlight the qualities of a character?
10:34 "Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim"
10:36 This is a very important and beautiful topic.
10:39 In the present era, it is very important to understand this topic
10:44 in a complete way, especially in light of the world's issues.
10:51 In the Quran, Allah says
10:54 "Wa maee yatawakkal alallahi fahuwa hasbuhu"
10:58 And in another place, Allah says
11:00 "Wa alallahi fatawakkalu in kuntum mu'mineena"
11:03 Meaning, the character of the people of faith is that they trust Allah.
11:09 Now what is "Tawakkal"?
11:11 It is to trust Allah with your efforts.
11:19 "Tawakkal" does not mean to give up everything,
11:23 to give up your efforts and then say that Allah is sufficient.
11:29 It is not like we have food in front of us and we do not raise our hands to eat.
11:35 We say that if we eat it, it will come to us.
11:39 "Tawakkal" is to trust Allah with your efforts,
11:43 with your business, with your trade, with everything.
11:49 Do not trust your power and your means.
11:56 Rather, trust Allah.
11:59 In fact, the Prophet (pbuh) said
12:02 "The one who completely trusts and trusts in Allah,
12:07 is like a bird that leaves its nest in the morning,
12:11 and Allah grants it food and it returns after a journey."
12:17 Similarly, Allah has given explanations for his means and all other matters.
12:25 And the Prophet (pbuh) has also emphasized that
12:28 "Keep your means in a complete form."
12:31 This is faith.
12:32 Do not be deprived of faith.
12:34 But despite having less faith in means,
12:37 do not trust in means.
12:39 Trust in Allah.
12:41 "Tawakkal" is to trust Allah with your efforts.
12:45 Not doing it is not right,
12:47 and even after doing it, do not attribute it to yourself.
12:50 Do not attribute it to yourself,
12:52 but to believe that Allah is sufficient and sufficient is "Tawakkal".
12:55 "Bar Tawakkal Zanoo-e-Ushtur-Baband"
12:57 Subhan Allah.
12:59 Ladies and gentlemen, the program is going on.
13:03 We have a short break here.
13:05 Stay with us.
13:06 We will be back after a short break.
13:09 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back.
13:11 You are watching the program.
13:13 Before going on the break,
13:15 we were talking about "Tawakkal".
13:18 It is very important,
13:20 and it is very important to understand and know this.
13:23 Not doing anything without having faith,
13:27 and then having faith in your efforts after doing it,
13:31 these two things are not appropriate for a person.
13:35 In fact, turning to Allah in all situations.
13:38 I would like to present to you,
13:40 the work of Fahim Shahzad.
13:43 Wasteful spending is an impact of personality.
13:47 The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said both things.
13:51 A believer is neither stingy nor wasteful spending.
13:55 Rather, he chooses to be moderate and likeable.
13:59 How much does this affect a person's character and personality?
14:04 What are the bad impacts?
14:06 And what is the positive outcome of avoiding this?
14:09 In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
14:11 O Allah, bless our Master, our Master Muhammad,
14:13 and the family of our Master, our Master Muhammad.
14:15 Bless and bless him.
14:17 Sir, with your permission and the permission of the Qibla,
14:20 a Hadith is coming to my mind about "Tawakkal".
14:23 Yes, yes.
14:24 The Prophet (PBUH) was asked,
14:26 "Should I trust Allah with the rider or without the rider?"
14:31 The Prophet (PBUH) said,
14:33 "First, tie the rider, then trust in Allah."
14:37 It is not possible to trust without choosing the means.
14:42 And then, you don't trust in Allah.
14:44 Of course, you trust in Allah.
14:47 The question is very important in today's world.
14:52 Today, we are in a dilemma.
14:55 Some say that this is wasteful,
14:57 some say that this is wasteful,
14:59 some say that this is stingy.
15:01 Now, we are stuck in the middle.
15:03 We have to avoid exaggeration and exaggeration
15:05 and move forward in our matter.
15:07 If we look at the Hadith of the Prophet,
15:10 and the Prophet (PBUH) has said this on numerous occasions,
15:15 the commentators of the Hadith have stated three types of people.
15:19 The first type is those who are stingy,
15:22 who keep their wealth in a small amount,
15:24 and do not spend it where it is needed.
15:26 This is a type of behavior that is not liked in Islam.
15:30 The second type is those who spend more than needed.
15:35 They are wasteful.
15:37 The meaning of wasteful is in Arabic,
15:39 it is "Seen, Ra, Fa".
15:41 It means to exceed the limit.
15:45 The second meaning of wasteful is in Arabic,
15:49 it is "Ghaflat Baratna".
15:51 These are the types of people who spend more than needed.
15:56 And they do not like to spend more than needed.
16:00 In the Holy Quran, Allah says,
16:03 "And give to the poor his due, and to the needy his share,
16:06 and do not give to the needy."
16:08 "Indeed, the needy are the brothers of the devils."
16:12 "Give to the close relatives their due,
16:15 and to the needy their share,
16:17 and to the traveler his share."
16:19 "And do not spend in vain."
16:23 "Indeed, the needy are the brothers of the devils."
16:26 The ones who spend in vain are the brothers of the devils.
16:30 This means that this second type of behavior is not liked.
16:33 Neither do the individuals like it, nor do the individuals like it.
16:36 The third type of people are those who,
16:38 according to the teachings of Allah and His Messenger,
16:42 spend their blessings.
16:44 They like this type of behavior.
16:48 This type of behavior is liked by Allah and His Messenger.
16:51 This type of behavior is because,
16:53 it can be a waste of wealth,
16:55 it can be a waste of knowledge,
16:57 it can be a waste of intellect,
16:59 it can be a waste of resources,
17:01 it can be a waste of different things.
17:03 But in general, the waste we have is of wealth.
17:06 Wealth is forbidden to be spent in vain,
17:10 because wealth is a blessing from Allah.
17:14 And the blessings are from Allah.
17:17 And wealth is such a thing that,
17:19 the Prophet (pbuh) said,
17:21 "Until the Day of Judgment,
17:23 the son of Adam will not answer four questions,
17:25 Allah will not let him leave his presence."
17:27 Two of those questions are related to wealth.
17:30 "Where did he get his wealth from, and in what did he spend it?"
17:34 It is not enough to earn from the lawful means,
17:37 but it is also necessary to spend it in a lawful place.
17:41 I would like to say in the last sentence,
17:43 this is the saying of Hazrat Safiyan Sori,
17:45 he says,
17:47 "The wealth spent in disobeying Allah,
17:50 whether it is lawful or unlawful,
17:52 whether it is less or more,
17:54 is called waste.
17:56 And some people think that,
17:58 unlawful wealth is waste,
18:00 and some people think that,
18:02 exceeding the lawful means is waste."
18:05 Right, right.
18:07 Hazrat, to keep control over your tongue,
18:10 to be silent,
18:12 not to speak ill of anyone,
18:14 not to say bad words to anyone,
18:16 this is very important.
18:18 The Prophet (pbuh) also said that,
18:20 if you give guarantee for this,
18:22 then one of the guarantees of heaven is that,
18:24 the person who controls his tongue,
18:26 how great people have adopted this,
18:29 and how he has groomed his personality,
18:32 and how it is necessary to do it.
18:35 Yes, Dr. Sahib,
18:38 the word that comes out of the tongue,
18:43 is sharper than the sword.
18:46 Right.
18:48 It is said,
18:50 "The wounds of the sword are a mercy,
18:52 and it does not hurt the tongue."
18:55 The wounds of the sword are a mercy,
18:59 and it does not hurt the tongue.
19:05 This is the tongue that gives comfort to the heart,
19:09 this is the tongue that gives pain to the heart.
19:13 The best way to do this is,
19:17 that the great people,
19:20 whom you are talking about,
19:22 they adopt silence.
19:25 Silence has many benefits.
19:28 But there is a law for this,
19:31 for silence.
19:33 Hazrat Sheikh Saad Ilaihi Rahmat says,
19:36 "Two things blind the mind."
19:38 Two things blind the mind.
19:41 "Two things blind the mind,
19:45 and they are like a sword in the neck,
19:47 when they are used in conversation."
19:49 When there is a need to say,
19:51 then you become silent.
19:53 Right.
19:54 "And when there is a need to be silent,
19:57 then you speak."
19:59 So, for this,
20:01 it is important to see the situation,
20:04 when you are speaking,
20:06 and when you are not.
20:08 Sometimes,
20:10 something good affects you.
20:13 Sometimes,
20:14 something bad also has a good effect.
20:17 Right.
20:18 There is an incident in the Quran,
20:21 that a king ordered a prisoner to be killed.
20:25 Yes.
20:26 His tongue was different.
20:29 When he saw that,
20:31 it was an order for him,
20:33 that he would be killed,
20:35 he said, "I have to be killed,
20:37 so I will say what I can."
20:39 In his own tongue,
20:41 he started cursing the king.
20:43 "When a person is in despair,
20:45 his tongue becomes long."
20:47 "The weak cat of the people of the heart
20:50 also attacks the dog."
20:52 So, he also attacked the dog.
20:54 The king was not understanding his tongue.
20:57 He asked the minister,
20:59 "Do you know what he is saying?"
21:02 One minister said,
21:04 "Yes, I know."
21:05 He asked, "What is he saying?"
21:07 He said, "He is saying,
21:09 'Wa al-qazimina al-ghayza wa la'afina an-innaas'."
21:12 "There are people who are drunk,
21:14 who are beloved to Allah,
21:16 who forgive people."
21:18 There was another minister who was against him.
21:21 He said, "The king is not worthy
21:23 of being in your company.
21:25 He should be released."
21:27 "He is lying so much,
21:29 he is cursing you,
21:31 and he is reading the Quran."
21:33 The minister said, "I like his lies more
21:36 than your truth."
21:38 "His intention was to save a life,
21:41 not to put it in danger."
21:43 Absolutely right.
21:45 We have joined now,
21:47 Hafiz Muhammad Usman.
21:49 Welcome, Hafiz Muhammad Usman Qadri.
21:52 Please give us the speech.
21:54 Hafiz Muhammad Usman Qadri.
21:56 In the name of Allah.
21:58 Wherever there is a place,
22:07 Give it the same sound.
22:18 The master listens to the mirror,
22:38 The master listens to the wall,
22:57 The people stand alone,
23:18 The people stand alone,
23:32 The king listens to the call of the people,
23:52 My every breath
24:01 Goes with his call.
24:21 The heart beats
24:31 With his call.
24:44 The sinners,
24:51 The sinners,
24:58 Do not be afraid,
25:09 They listen to the call of their nation.
25:28 When the victor
25:40 Rises to the throne,
25:53 My faith is that of my master.
26:08 They listen to the call of their nation.
26:15 JazakAllah.
26:17 It is time for a break.
26:19 We will be back after a short Waqf.
26:21 Welcome back.
26:23 You are watching the program,
26:25 "The Morals of Great People".
26:27 We are talking from different perspectives.
26:29 The Prophet (PBUH) said,
26:39 "One who does not have faith,
26:41 does not have trust,
26:43 and does not have faith,
26:44 does not have a covenant."
26:46 What does he say in this regard?
26:48 We see in the Quran,
26:51 "And forgive in the agreement of the appointed time."
26:56 In the Hadith,
26:58 the Prophet (PBUH) has mentioned
27:00 one of the signs of a hypocrite,
27:02 which is not to fulfill a promise.
27:04 To go against a promise.
27:06 In the Hadith,
27:08 the Prophet (PBUH) said,
27:10 "The day of judgement will be like a flag
27:12 that will be of the people of the covenant."
27:14 The people of the covenant will be gathered there.
27:17 This is a very strict warning for those who go against a promise.
27:21 Allah the Almighty has said,
27:23 "Questions will be asked about the promise."
27:26 The Prophet (PBUH) said,
27:28 "There is no greater personality in the universe
27:31 than the Prophet (PBUH)
27:33 and no one is more busy than him.
27:35 No one is worthy of his protocol."
27:37 The Prophet (PBUH) has his own custom.
27:40 When a person promises,
27:42 "I will come to this place and pay you."
27:45 The Prophet (PBUH) stood there for three days.
27:49 When the person came on the third day,
27:51 he regretted it.
27:53 The Prophet (PBUH) said,
27:55 "I was standing here since you said
27:57 that I will come here.
27:59 I am standing here on the promise
28:01 and you have put me through a lot of trouble.
28:04 Similarly, Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (RA)
28:07 made a promise to someone
28:09 for the marriage of his daughter.
28:12 When the time came,
28:14 the promise was not fulfilled.
28:16 The Prophet (PBUH) gathered everyone
28:18 and said, "Since I had promised her,
28:20 and since she is not here,
28:22 I hereby declare in the honor of my promise
28:25 that I will marry my daughter to her."
28:27 "Questions will be asked about the promise."
28:30 Today, the disobeyance of a promise
28:32 has become a common practice.
28:34 We do not understand the promise of time.
28:37 We do not understand this for two to five hours.
28:40 We are the missionaries,
28:42 the scholars, and the people.
28:44 If we are given time at 6,
28:46 we are doing the program at 9.
28:48 All of this is against the promise
28:51 and is against the validity of the promise.
28:54 For this, it is necessary,
28:56 since this is a type of hypocrisy,
28:59 for the believers,
29:01 to fulfill the promise,
29:03 to fulfill their promise,
29:05 and this is called success and peace.
29:08 This is the beauty of Islam.
29:10 In the blessed hadith,
29:12 the Prophet (PBUH) says,
29:14 "It is not necessary to fulfill
29:16 the promise you make to a Muslim."
29:18 He says, "If you have made a promise
29:20 to a non-believer, then fulfill it."
29:22 Whether you make a promise to a Muslim
29:24 or a non-believer, fulfill it.
29:26 For this, it is necessary for us
29:28 to fulfill our promise
29:30 and fulfill the promises we make to everyone.
29:33 Syed Muhammad Fahim Shahzad Bukhari
29:35 has given his full name and I am saying it in a way.
29:39 InshaAllah, by the time the time is up,
29:41 it will be completely over.
29:43 Today, we have discussed 5 things
29:45 which are against the promise,
29:47 which are against the control of the tongue,
29:49 which are against the trust,
29:51 which are wasteful,
29:53 and how much of these 5 things,
29:55 as a whole,
29:57 impact on the personality of a person.
30:00 If we conclude these things,
30:02 how should they be born in us?
30:05 Sir, in relation to the promise,
30:07 there are two types of promises.
30:09 One is the promise which is related
30:11 to the person's relationship with the person.
30:13 We have discussed this in detail.
30:15 One is the promise which we have made
30:17 with Allah, the Lord of Glory.
30:19 There are two types of that.
30:21 One is the promise which was made
30:23 in the realm of souls,
30:25 when it was asked, "Am I not your Lord?"
30:27 Everyone said in one voice, "Yes, Maulana,
30:29 you are our Lord."
30:31 So, there are some practical requirements
30:33 of that promise which we have to include
30:35 in our lives.
30:37 Then, when there is no distinction
30:39 between a Muslim or a non-Muslim,
30:41 whatever religion he belongs to,
30:43 the last person to come after Adam,
30:45 the Prophet, was also gathered there.
30:47 Then, the second promise,
30:49 in the name of Allah, the Lord of Glory,
30:51 which a person makes when he accepts
30:53 the religion given by Allah, the Lord of Glory.
30:55 If, fortunately, a Muslim is born in a family,
30:57 but, obviously, he is taught
30:59 and Allah's voice is heard in his ears.
31:01 Even then, we are making a promise
31:03 that every moment of our lives
31:05 will pass according to your will.
31:07 Now, we have to see
31:09 whether we have fulfilled
31:11 the promise of Allah, the Lord of Glory
31:13 or not.
31:15 Now, I have put this aspect of the promise
31:17 in front of you.
31:19 Now, what you have said,
31:21 that today we have talked about
31:23 different things,
31:25 and today is the 24th fast.
31:27 We are talking about the morals
31:29 of great people and different aspects
31:31 of Jihad.
31:33 Now, this question may arise in the mind
31:35 of a listener that the morals
31:37 of great people are being mentioned.
31:39 How can we adopt those morals
31:41 and how can we stand in that line?
31:43 So, a basic formula for this is
31:45 that we have to read the biography
31:47 of the Prophet (pbuh)
31:49 and we have to adopt the methods
31:51 given in the biography of the Prophet (pbuh).
31:53 The Prophet (pbuh) was asked a question,
31:55 "What is the best deed?"
31:57 The Prophet (pbuh) replied,
31:59 "Good morals."
32:01 Then he was asked,
32:03 "What is religion?"
32:05 The Prophet (pbuh) replied,
32:07 "Good morals."
32:09 And he was also asked,
32:11 "By Allah, the Lord of Glory,
32:13 in whose hands is my life,
32:15 only those will go to heaven
32:17 who have good morals."
32:19 Now, there are different Jihads
32:21 of morals.
32:23 The difference is that
32:25 we are standing in a different line
32:27 of morals.
32:29 Just as there are many aspects
32:31 of good morals,
32:33 similarly, there are many aspects
32:35 of bad morals.
32:37 A person becomes a perfect person
32:39 when he takes himself out of
32:41 the bad morals and makes
32:43 himself the guide of good morals.
32:45 I will tell you the last Hadith.
32:47 It is a narration from
32:49 Hazrat Abu Huraira.
32:51 "Good morals are necessary for you."
32:53 The Prophet (pbuh) replied,
32:55 "What is good morals?"
32:57 In our view, the definition
32:59 of good morals can be different.
33:01 But according to the Prophet,
33:03 Allah has given the same definition
33:05 of good morals.
33:07 The Prophet (pbuh) said,
33:09 "The good morals are that
33:11 you should establish a relationship
33:13 with the person with whom
33:15 you want to break the relationship
33:17 because you are deprived of
33:19 the person who is in need of you.
33:21 You should give him to the person
33:23 who is in need of you.
33:25 You should forgive the person
33:27 who is oppressing you
33:29 even though he has the power
33:31 to take revenge on you."
33:33 This is the highest level of good morals.
33:35 We should always improve our
33:37 morals according to the
33:39 purest of morals.
