00:02 - Joe, I don't think that that necessarily means
00:07 it's gonna be where the Vikings are right now
00:09 on the draft board.
00:10 It probably means that they have to trade up to do it,
00:13 but plus 115, but the Patriots are the second choice now.
00:17 - Yeah, I mean, again, here's the thing,
00:19 and this is pretty interesting when you look at the markets
00:22 because they have the favorite now with Jayden Daniels.
00:25 They have now Drake May as the favorite for number three
00:28 with JJ McCarthy at 12 to one,
00:30 but the Patriots are plus 220 to draft JJ McCarthy.
00:34 So if they stay in pad at three and select McCarthy,
00:37 then May is overvalued like I believe.
00:40 Here's what I believe.
00:42 If it is Minnesota,
00:44 I think they'd make a trade with New England.
00:46 And the reason why I say that is New England
00:49 is not a one quarterback away from like a quick fix.
00:54 They need multiple positions
00:56 to revamp this team offensively and defensively.
00:59 And for Gerard Mayo, a first year coach,
01:01 he could trade out at three,
01:03 get multiple players that fill needs
01:05 and still build his team around either a veteran
01:09 or a rookie that they get later,
01:11 a rookie like Michael Penix or a rookie even like Bo Nix.
01:15 So they don't need to take,
01:17 Drake May or JJ McCarthy there.
01:19 They have other needs that they need to address.
01:21 And if Minnesota wants to pay up, that's fine.
01:25 Let them pay up for JJ McCarthy from three to 11.
01:28 That's great draft capital.
01:30 The problem with Minnesota is they might reach up
01:33 to grab JJ McCarthy or their quarterback in the future.
01:36 They might not have their best player on that roster
01:39 in terms of Justin Jefferson that didn't show up yesterday
01:43 because he wants to be paid.
01:45 So what does that mean?
