Penny Italia compie 30 anni e festeggia con risultati da record e nuovi investimenti

(Adnkronos) - Risultati da record nel 2023, con un fatturato di 1,619 miliardi di euro e una rete vendita di 449 negozi in 18 regioni, e un piano di investimenti da circa 65 milioni l’anno per i prossimi tre anni. Penny Italia celebra i suoi 30 anni di attività in Italia con soddisfazione per i dati economici dello scorso anno ed entusiasmo per le prospettive. Dei traguardi finora raggiunti e della strategia di business e di crescita si è parlato alla conferenza stampa annuale di Penny Italia, svoltasi a Milano, a cui hanno partecipato giornalisti, partner e stakeholders.

00:00A billion and 619 million euros of invoices, 70 million investments, 34 new open branches,

00:15These are just some of the data that tell of the 2023 record lived by PEN Italy,
00:20the food discount that this year celebrates 30 years of activity in the beautiful country.
00:24Presented at the annual press conference of PEN Italy,
00:27the economic forecasts for the current year have been followed.
00:31Despite the fact that in the first months of 2024
00:33consumers are witnessing a drop in the volume of purchases,
00:37the forecasts are, according to the president and CEO of the company, very encouraging.
00:42The year is expected to grow significantly,
00:45we plan to reach 1.8 billion euros of invoices this year.
00:50We have 26 new open branches in the construction site,
00:53distributed throughout the 18 regions where we are already present in Italy,
00:57so the growth phase will continue,
01:00but also the investment by PEN on the Italian market will continue.
01:06This year 65 million euros of investments have been allocated,
01:10which will go towards new openings,
01:13but also towards the re-qualification of existing branches
01:17through the inclusion of the departments of butchery and gastronomy.
