00:30 Ana Lisa's family is using prepaid electricity to save on consumption.

00:35 For every 100 pesos of electricity load or K-load,

00:38 her entire house has electricity for 8 to 12 hours.

00:41 Aircon, ref, electric fan, rice cooker, and washing machine are the appliances

00:47 that consume electricity in their house every day.

00:50 The K-load is just a preparation. We are safe from brownout.

00:55 In case we are shut down, we can get electricity back as soon as we load within a minute.

01:05 Ana Lisa spends around 3 to 5 thousand pesos on electricity every month.

01:10 According to Meralco, after 2023, K-load users are around 97,000.

01:20 In 2013, the program started as an option for customers,

01:24 especially those who can't afford to install their own power line and have monthly fees.
