00:00Gordon Hayward, one of the biggest names on the NBA's free agency market, is heading to Charlotte.

00:07According to ESPN's Adrian Wodronowski, Hayward agreed to a four-year, $120 million contract with the Charlotte Hornets.

00:16This news comes after Hayward opted out of his $34.2 million deal for the 2021 season with the Boston Celtics.

00:25Hayward was an all-star in his final season with the Utah Jazz in 2016 and 2017, but has since struggled to remain healthy.

00:34He missed 111 games during three seasons with the Celtics and most recently suffered a right ankle injury that cost him most of the playoffs.

00:43The 6'7 offensive player will now take his talents to Charlotte, where the Hornets hope he will serve as a lead playmaker.
