00:00The LA Clippers are one step closer to having their full roster available in Orlando for the
00:04NBA restart. According to Athletics, Joe Vard and Marcus Morris is in attendance at the Clippers
00:08practice session this morning, marking the first time he's been with the team since they arrived
00:13on campus a few weeks ago. The physical forward is expected to play an important role for the
00:16Clippers as they make a push for this year's NBA title. He's strongly made a positive impact in 12
00:21games for the team thus far, but was averaging a career-high 19.6 points per game for the New
00:26York Knicks earlier this year. He won't need to match at low production in LA now he's playing
00:30alongside Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, but he is needed to be an efficient shooter and that's
00:35something he hasn't accomplished just yet. The 30-year-old has made just 28.3 percent of his
00:39three-point attempts since joining the Clippers in February, compared to the nearly 44 percent rate
00:44he had in New York. Morris has been best on the other end of the floor in LA, where he's given
00:48the team another versatile defender to throw at the likes of LeBron James, another high-scoring
00:51forwards. If Morris can continue to play solid defense and hit three-pointers at an efficient
00:55rate, he'll be the perfect complementary piece to LA's starting rotation. Varden also noted that while
01:01Landry, Shammitt, and Ibiza's Zubats are not present for this team's practice this morning,
01:06that doesn't necessarily mean they're not in Orlando just yet. On Saturday, Shammitt announced
01:09that he was nearly finished with his 14-day quarantine or testing positive for the coronavirus.
01:14There's a good chance he's at least preparing for his trip at this point. Zoo's status is still
01:18unknown, but if he isn't available for Wednesday's scrimmage to Orlando Magic, look for Joakim Noah
01:23to see plenty of minutes at the five at his team debut.
