00:00If there's one major takeaway from the NLA Clippers first few weeks in Orlando so far,
00:04it's that Joakim Noah is fitting in perfectly with his new team.
00:0735-year-old veteran Big has drawn praise from head coach Jack Rivers and several of his new
00:11teammates, often honing in on his high energy and basketball IQ. Lou Williams, the latest member of
00:17the team to speak out about Noah, bring attention to how well he's fitting with the rest of the
00:20guys thus far, saying, quote, we've had a lot of competitive situations where he's been able
00:24to show he's a seasoned veteran in his game. I think this is a great fit for him. We've embraced
00:28him. He's embraced us. He's embraced our culture. So I think he's a great fit for what we're trying
00:32to accomplish. Although he signed with the team over four months ago, Noah has yet to make his
00:36L.A. Clippers debut. He was on the bench for L.A.'s meet with the Golden State Warriors on March 10th,
00:40and likely would have played in the games that followed, had the NBA season not been suspended
00:45one day later. Fortunately, Noah's chance could come sooner than we initially thought, and he
00:49could earn some serious minutes in his debut as well. With Montrez Hamilton tending to a family
00:54matter, and Evita Zubats out of the bubble, Noah is the only center on the roster right now.
00:58With their first scrimmage game coming up on Wednesday, Noah is in line to see plenty of time
01:02on the court. Of course, once Zubats and Harold arrive on campus, Noah will likely be bumped out
01:07of the rotation. That's not to say he won't play again the rest of the season, but those two will
01:11take up most of L.A.'s minutes at the five. Regardless of Noah's role, it sounds as though
01:16he's been a welcome addition to the roster so far, and a player that can move the needle both on and
01:20off the floor. L.A.'s first televised scrimmage game could be played this Saturday, July 25th,
01:25at 8 p.m. Eastern Time against the Washington Wizards. Those interested in catching a glimpse
01:29at Noah should be sure to tune in.
