00:00 The Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers both voted to sit out
00:05 the rest of the NBA season on Wednesday night according to Sports Illustrated's
00:10 Chris Mannix. In a league-wide meeting involving every NBA player, the Lakers
00:15 and Clippers were the only two teams to vote against continuing the NBA playoffs
00:20 following the police shooting of Jacob Blake. During the discussions, LeBron
00:25 James said he wants to see more action and involvement from ownership. He later
00:30 walked out of the meeting with the rest of the Lakers and Clippers team
00:34 following him. ESPN's Wojnarowski is now reporting that the Clippers and
00:39 Lakers voting on perhaps not continuing with the season was considered more of a
00:43 polling than a final vote. Thursday's NBA playoff games will likely not be played
00:50 and the resumption of the season remains still up in the air.
