Paul George sees 'a great future' with Ivica Zubac

00:00Paul George sees a great future with Evita Zubac.

00:05Zubac was the topic of conversation because of the fact that he had a perfect game against the Dallas Mavericks.

00:12In 20 minutes, he put up 21 points, 15 rebounds on a perfect 10 for 10 from the field.

00:18He's always been considered one of the more underrated players because he doesn't get that much playing time,

00:23and a lot of times Montrez Harold finishes the games over him.

00:26But despite that, everybody knows and sees the upside with him.

00:31George said, Zubac is like a little brother. He's got a ton of upside.

00:34He really has tons of potential and he can do a lot of things. I've seen it.

00:39And he said he expects a lot from him. He just wants the best with him.

00:43And his job is to try to help him and get him to that next level.

00:47And it's interesting with Zubac because he's come a long way.

00:50If anyone remembers, he was that throwaway piece for Magic Johnson in the Mike Muscala trade

00:56and basically gave him away for nothing and said he wasn't really worth that much.

01:01And it was something that Jerry West apparently laughed about when it happened.

01:06Now, when the Clippers granted him that four-year, $28 million contract, it came with expectations.

01:13And now Paul George has that expectation for him, Kawhi Leonard does,

01:17and so far Zubac has stepped up to the plate.
