Doc Rivers says LA Clippers have had Three Healthy Practices This Season

The LA Clippers have struggled to maintain a fully healthy roster all season long.

00:03unfortunately, that's continued into the bubble.

00:05Doc Rivers' title chasing squad is roughly two weeks out, being in the playoffs, and

00:09the team still hasn't had its full roster available for a single game in Romando.

00:14Unfortunately, that won't be changing anytime soon either.

00:16Patrick Bradley missed his second straight game on Saturday as he recovers from

00:19a calf injury, and Montrez Harold, while he's reportedly on his way back to

00:22the bubble, likely won't be back in top shape until the postseason rolls around.

00:26Following LA's win over the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday,

00:28Rivers spoke a bit about his team's inability to stay healthy this year,

00:31saying, quote, it'd be nice to have a stretch where our whole team was available,

00:34practicing and playing.

00:36We haven't had that all year.

00:37I think it's been three with the entire group.

00:40Fortunately, LA's reserves have stepped up in the absence of key players all year

00:43long, guys like Terrence Mann, Amir Coffey, Patrick Patterson,

00:47Rodney Magruder, Landry Shammott.

00:49They've all enforced larger roles than they're used to on several occasions this

00:52season, and for the most part, they've done a great job of carrying that additional

00:55weight.

00:55Mann, Coffey, Magruder have all filled in on nights when Lou Williams and

00:58Paul George haven't been available, and Landry Shammott as well, while Patterson,

01:02you know, an afterthought of free agency, has made 50 hot appearances in 18 starts,

01:06and has played surprisingly good defense against Anthony Davis for whatever reason.

01:10All things considered, it's incredible the Clippers are in a position to

01:13attend the finals this year.

01:14At 46-22, LA has one of the best records in the NBA, and

01:18it's part of a title favorite as well, even among the patchwork lineups and

01:21young contributors.

01:23If Clippers can have a fully healthy stretch in the postseason,

01:25they'd be one of the most difficult teams to eliminate from the bubble.
