Ivica Zubac responds to Kendrick Perkins: "Lou is a true leader"

00:00Lou Williams is the talk of the NBA right now.

00:04You know, after getting caught at Magic City in Atlanta,

00:07every single talk show in the world that talks

00:10about basketball is talking about him.

00:13Now, the most recent focal point of criticism he had was

00:15from Kendrick Perkins, and once Perkins kind

00:19of launched his little tirade on him,

00:20Montrez Harold defended him, Patrick Beverly defended him,

00:24and Lou told Perk to shut up.

00:26After the Clippers played the Kings in scrimmage today,

00:29we spoke to Avicii Zubac and asked, you know,

00:32what his thoughts about it were,

00:33and he basically called Lou a true leader.

00:36He called him a guy that was always, you know,

00:38trying to get the team to go out to dinner,

00:41trying to make sure everybody had a good time,

00:43and Zubac specifically has a special relationship

00:46with Williams because he's basically played his entire

00:49five-year career with Lou Williams,

00:52from the Lakers to the Clippers.

00:54He only spent one small portion of a half a season,

00:57you know, without Williams, and he's, to be honest,

01:01like, that's all he's known.

01:03That's been his vet forever.

01:05So the only thing the Clippers can really do here is adapt

01:09and move on and hope that they don't lose the two games

01:12that Williams isn't playing in, and if that's the case,

01:15then winning solves everything.
