00:00 Good afternoon. After a bright start to the day it's going to get a lot more cloudier
00:04 this afternoon but most areas should stay dry. Let's have a look at the satellite and
00:09 radar from so far this morning. You can see some quite heavy showers already moving into
00:13 southern areas and across the north some coastal showers as well. But inland still fairly dry
00:18 and that should stay like that through much of the day. Though some of those showers will
00:21 start to drift further inland across the north and as I said skies will get that much cloudier
00:26 but it won't feel too bad in any sheltered sunshine. Further south as I said those showery
00:31 outbreaks of rain are starting to affect parts of the south west by this afternoon. These
00:35 could bring some quite heavy driving conditions, tricky driving conditions as well. And I think
00:40 temperatures will once again be below par so you'll be fairly disappointed if you are
00:44 stuck under any of that rain and cloud after that particularly chilly start this morning.
00:49 And it's going to be another cold night tonight particularly across the north as cloud will
00:53 melt away once again, should turn much drier and clearer through the night and a frost
00:58 is likely to develop for parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland could be down as low
01:02 as -4 to start the day on Saturday. Across the south though it will be a milder start
01:07 however it's going to be quite a cloudy and wet start. This band of showery rain is going
01:11 to continue its journey northwards into parts of Wales and southern areas of the Midlands
01:15 perhaps into the south east by Saturday morning as well. So probably quite a wet start to
01:20 the day and those showery outbreaks of rain will continue to affect central areas through
01:24 much of the day bringing with it quite a lot of cloud. To the north of that though it should
01:29 stay fairly dry and bright. I think the best of the sunshine will once again be in the
01:33 morning similar to today. There is a risk of a few coastal showers into the afternoon.
01:38 Across the far south coast of England it will turn a little bit warmer by the afternoon
01:42 as milder air is starting to arrive and in any brightness it won't feel too bad at all,
01:47 much more like spring. However there is a risk of some very heavy showers particularly
01:52 across the south coast on Saturday afternoon. On Saturday evening it should stay quite cloudy.
01:58 Most areas will be dry but we could see some fairly persistent rain for central areas and
02:02 in particular across the south east as the next batch of rain arrives. That's a frontal
02:07 system wrapped around this area of low pressure that will bring a larger swathe of heavy rain
02:12 for many areas on Sunday. So there is some heavier rain to come for a wider area of east
02:17 and England on Sunday but you can find more details on that on our YouTube channel. Don't
02:21 forget to subscribe. Bye bye.
