00:00 This weekend, the training of the Philippine ships in America and France

00:05 in the Balikatan Exercises 2024 continued.

00:08 The ships of China also continued to dock with the ships in the West Philippine Sea.

00:16 On the second day in the West Philippine Sea,

00:21 the allied Navy still guarded a warship of the People's Liberation Army Navy of China.

00:27 Animoy, an invited participant of the multilateral maritime exercise

00:32 that followed the ships of the Philippines, America and France,

00:35 the surveillance vessel of China with a bow number 793.

00:40 A frigate with a bow number 570 showed up

00:44 and followed at a distance of 9 nautical miles from the Navy vessel we were riding.

00:49 This is not unusual for the ships of the Philippines and France to continue to train.

00:54 We monitored them at around 6 to 9 nautical miles.

00:58 Their presence in our exercise area is quite far.

01:02 This January, this Wangshan Frigate and a destroyer

01:07 were with the two Chinese warships that followed

01:09 the second joint maritime patrol of the Philippine and US Navy

01:13 near the northern coast of Palawan.

01:15 At a distance, the ships of America were preparing for the search and rescue exercise.

01:22 In the west Philippine Sea, there are ships of fishermen that can be seen on the radar of our ship.

01:28 It is not yet clear if one of their monitors is a Chinese militia vessel.

01:33 At the start of the exercise,

01:35 the Philippine Navy monitored 110 militia vessels of China in the west Philippine Sea,

01:41 away from its weekly average of 30 to 60 vessels.

01:45 By the afternoon, the French Frigate was not part of the exercise

01:49 because one of its soldiers was in a medical emergency.

01:53 The Chinese Frigate was also unable to see.

01:55 Meanwhile, as the search and rescue exercise between the Philippines and America began,

02:01 a surveillance warship of China again entered at a distance of 7 nautical miles.

02:07 Sometimes they are there and sometimes they are not.

02:12 So it is important that we monitor their presence

02:15 and that we send their movement to the higher headquarters.
