00:03 When you have the first pick overall in the draft,
00:05 all you have to do is not screw it up and the Bears did not.
00:07 They took Caleb Williams first overall.
00:10 They took a wide receiver.
00:11 They took an offensive tackle.
00:13 They took a punter, which I guess is okay in the fourth round.
00:17 Maybe that's the minus I would have given in the draft.
00:19 I don't know why anybody would take a punter there.
00:20 And then an edge rusher there in the fifth round.
00:23 So naturally, Jacob, you're giving out the highest grade to the Bears,
00:26 which makes sense.
00:28 >> Yeah, I think I'm gonna give them a B plus.
00:30 The biggest downgrade I'm giving them here is the fact that they took a punter
00:35 in the fourth round.
00:36 I just can never get over that because specialists have such a high bust rate.
00:40 I know Torrey Taylor was fantastic in Iowa.
00:42 He set several NCAA records.
00:44 But I would have liked to support Caleb Williams a little bit more,
00:47 continue adding to the offense with that pick.
00:49 But I think you look at the fact that Williams projects as a franchise
00:52 quarterback, Roma Dunze, adding him to a receiving core that already has DJ Moore
00:57 and Keenan Allen in it, that looks appealing to me.
01:00 And I like the offensive tackle they got from Yale.
01:02 I think that was a good upside pick.
01:04 He was my top FCS prospect in this year's class.
01:07 So I think they overall did a solid job.
01:10 I think I would have maybe given them an A minus if they didn't take a punter.
01:13 But I think B plus is fair.
01:15 They rock solid and that offense should be a lot better now with Caleb Williams and
01:19 Toe than it was in previous years.
