00:00All right, so game one tonight in Boston.
00:02The Celtics have been waiting for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
00:04They knocked off the Orlando Magic in seven games.
00:07And Boston, not as big a favorite against Cleveland
00:10as they were against Miami.
00:11If you remember, those games were like 14, 15 points.
00:14Tonight, 11 and a half, the total of 210.
00:18I always find these first games, Jacob, dangerous for me,
00:22because I'm really not sure what to expect.
00:24I feel like the first game happens,
00:26and then things normalize throughout the series.
00:28So my temptation here is to either,
00:31I don't know, pass on this game,
00:33or maybe play a half or something like that,
00:35because I do think Boston's going to win the game.
00:37But I just never know what to expect in game one.
00:41Yeah, I'm from the Boston area, and I grew up a Celtics fan.
00:45So I think that they're going to win this game
00:47and win this series, but it wouldn't surprise me
00:49if they have one of those classic games
00:51that we've seen on this team where they should win,
00:54they should find a way to win,
00:55but it's closer than it needs to be.
00:57So in this game, I almost favor the Cavs
00:59because the Celtics have had a long layoff.
01:02Cavs gets the spread, not Cavs win outright.
01:04But I think the Cavs can keep this within 10 points.
01:07They match up decently well with the Celtics.
01:10Celtics have had trouble in the past
01:12containing Donovan Mitchell and Karras Lavert.
01:14Sometimes they both have big games.
01:16I have distinct memories of Lavert
01:18dropping 50 on the Celtics recently.
01:20So I think that these guys can keep it close.
01:24The Celtics might be out of rhythm a little bit
01:26after having a longer layoff,
01:27and I think that the Cavs will be riding
01:29that emotional win in game seven
01:31and come back into this one.
01:33Now, that can backfire because if the Cavs are tired,
01:35the Celtics can probably run them out of the gym.
01:37But I might go with the Cavs in this one against the spread
01:40and see the Celtics pull out a closer-than-expected win
01:43to kick off this series.
