Taipei Expands HPV Vaccine Program to Teenage Boys

From September, Taipei will expand its HPV vaccine program to include boys aged 12-15, in line with WHO recommendations.

00:14 program for boys. HPV is a group of viruses mainly transmitted through sexual intercourse
00:19 and contact with bodily fluids. The World Health Organization says both men and women should take
00:25 preventative measures against infection. In 2023, 140 countries had made HPV vaccines part of their
00:31 national programs.
