00:00 Hello and welcome to what's on in Wigan this week. The Problem Childs Festival will showcase
00:08 local talent from up and coming Northern artists this weekend. There will also be street food
00:14 available and the bar will be home to a mini beer festival with a range of ales and ciders
00:19 on offer. The festival takes place from Friday May 17th until Sunday May 19th at the Wayfairer
00:25 pub in Parbold. This Saturday May 18th is the Wigan pub walk in aid of Wigan and Leigh
00:32 Hospice. Starting at Formby's on Hindley Road, over 270 walkers will be taking the 14km route
00:39 around Wigan, stopping at different venues along the way. There's still time to get involved
00:44 and it will cost £25 to enter on the day with the walk beginning at 9.30am. A new bar
00:51 is opening its doors in Wigan Town Centre this weekend. Old Walkabout, which is on the
00:57 same spot as the nostalgic Walkabout on King Street, will open on May 18th. The Over 21s
01:04 bar will be open from noon for the Challenge Cup semi-final with anyone's first drink on
01:10 the house before 6pm. And finally, the Artisan Market returns to Haywoodland Park this weekend.
01:17 Over 50 traders will be selling an array of handmade goods and it runs from 10am to 4pm
