00:00Hello and welcome to what's happening in Wigan this week. Wigan Rotary Club's Community Day will see more than 40 stalls manned by charities, community groups and sports clubs around the borough, as well as music and performers.
00:16It's a chance for local groups to showcase their work and recruit new members. It takes place on Market Street in Wigan Town Centre on Saturday from 9am until 4pm.
00:28Our Lady's Primary School in Aspel is hosting its annual Sports Day and Summer Gala on Sunday, attended by Gladiators contender Betty Wirth. The doors open at 1pm with Betty's warm-up at 1.45pm ahead of the Sports Day races beginning at 2pm.
00:43The Summer Gala will run until 5pm and includes bouncy castles, inflatables, Nerf guns, a barbeque and much more.
00:52Stanley Park is hosting its second Summer Furacrafts this weekend. There will be face painting, clay pigeon shooting, fun fur, character visits, live music and more. It is on both Saturday and Sunday, with tickets are £2 online or £2.50 on the day.
01:08And finally, the Problem Child Festival returns to the Wayfairer pub this weekend. There will be live music, food and drink and more fun for all the family. Live music takes place from 11am until 8pm on the Saturday and 11am until 6pm on the Sunday.
