00:00Hello and welcome to what's on in Wigan this week. The summer special events at Apley Bridge
00:08All Saints Primary take place on Saturday, June 29th from 12pm to 3pm. There will be
00:14games, stalls, a barbeque and more with the event ending with a colour run around the
00:18school grounds. Entry is £1.
00:22Buskers Bash, the annual busking festival at Heywoodland Park returns on Saturday. A
00:27free musical mash-up across the park, there's supporting homegrown talent, cracking covers
00:31and original music from the world of folk, pop, indie and musical theatre. It takes place
00:37from 11am until 4pm.
00:41Or why not attend the third annual Community Family Fun Day at Goose Creek Cricket Club
00:46on Sunday 30th June which celebrates its 40th anniversary year. There is lots of returning
00:52stalls plus exciting new businesses and of course the usual ice cream, bouncy castles,
00:57face painting, kids tent and loads of fun for all the family including the furry four
01:02legged kind. Entry is free and it takes place from 11am to 5pm.
01:08And finally St Andrew's Parish Centre is hosting a picnic in Mains Park near the bandstand
01:14on Sunday from 2pm. Everyone is invited to bring along a picnic and join in on an afternoon
01:20of fun and games and entertainment.
