00:00 Hello there, welcome to your weather update from the Met Office. We have three types of
00:04 weather through the next few days. Warm sunshine which will trigger some showers, particularly
00:09 in the south, and in between a weather front. It's fairly weak, no sort of forcing on it,
00:13 although we do have low pressure sitting towards the south west of the UK. And this weather
00:17 front will be with us into Thursday as well as Friday. Cloud and also some patchy rain.
00:22 In fact, that's how we see this evening, Tuesday evening, rain across western and central parts
00:27 of Scotland and also across eastern counties. And after a dry evening across the Midlands
00:33 and the South East, you'll see more wet weather arrive later. Showers churn round the west
00:37 country there with a bit of a breeze, but some clearer skies for Northern Ireland, South
00:41 West Scotland, as well as North West England. Also a mostly dry night for Wales, away from
00:46 perhaps the far North East. Temperatures holding up 11, 12 degrees Celsius and a clear start
00:52 to the day across Shetland with some sunshine and also a keen wind. Now through the morning,
00:58 after a bright morning across southern Scotland, Northern Ireland, you'll see more clouds,
01:01 some patchy rain, particularly across Pennine districts, Lincolnshire seeing some rain and
01:06 the rain just comes and goes across East Anglia. We'll see some showers develop just the south
01:10 of this weather front, North Wales, the Midlands as well, and a few showers further south.
01:15 So a mix of sunshine, hazy sunshine at that, and also this cloud and some patchy rain,
01:21 which as I said, will fade from time to time. But temperatures in the sunshine, 20, 21 degrees
01:26 Celsius, feeling warm, particularly across Western Scotland. Now through Wednesday evening
01:30 and overnight, this cloud still is with us. And again, that rain just comes and goes,
01:35 pushing yet again towards southern Scotland, covering much of Northern England. And it's
01:39 a little bit showery. To the south, we could actually see some mist and fog patches forming
01:43 with a light wind and a bright morning into Thursday, yet again across northern and northeastern
01:49 areas with a breeze. Now through Thursday, you can see where this rain is, but to the
01:54 south of this, we'll see the cloud build and also some showers. And these showers could
01:58 turn heavy with the risk of thunder. Some warm sunshine across much of central and northern
02:03 areas of Scotland, and yet again, temperatures coming in around 19 to 21 degrees Celsius.
02:09 See you later.
