00:04 Cambiamo Rotta is a journey that began in 2023
00:08 with the presentation of the first illustrated white book on ovarian tumour
00:13 that we presented to the Ministry of Health together with the Association of Patients.
00:17 This book is written by women and is for women.
00:21 It tells their life story and the path they have taken,
00:25 but also includes the contribution of clinical experts in the field of diagnosis and treatment of this tumour.
00:32 The project Cambiamo Rotta has brought out the voice of women with ovarian tumour
00:37 to give us the possibility to identify and respond to their needs that still today do not find an answer.
00:43 And GESCHE is committed to continue this journey and this change of route,
00:49 going to the territory, to the regions, to provide information and support to all women.
00:55 Today it is the turn of the campaign, which represents a virtuous example on the Italian territory
01:00 for the employment of women with ovarian tumour.
01:04 And then in the fall the journey will continue.
01:07 Being on the side of patients and caregivers through the associations that represent them
01:12 and putting up an active listening is fundamental for us to respond to the needs
01:17 that still today do not find an answer.
01:20 And GESCHE constantly renews this commitment with a team
01:24 that is entirely dedicated to advocacy and engagement.
01:28 For us it is a priority to pay attention to the entire patient care path
01:34 and we know that the informational need is still a primary element of importance.
01:41 For this reason, GESCHE has dedicated a digital platform called WomenCare to women with gynecological tumours
01:48 with scientific and practical insights on women's health.
01:54 Taking care of the person and their quality of life is fundamental
01:59 and for this reason we continue to support the Association of Patients
02:03 in giving life to activities dedicated to the psychophysical well-being of the person and also of his family.
02:10 Finally, another aspect on which we are actively committed is the right to access to care
02:15 in order to reduce inequalities in access to care and the tests necessary for patients.
02:21 And it is precisely by supporting events like the one today in Campania
02:25 that we try to raise awareness at the regional level
02:30 so that there is a more targeted take on the needs of patients.
