00:00In the midst of the search for authorities for the possible crimes of Pastor Apollo Q. Buloy,
00:07where a leader of the Church, a religious leader,
00:11confessed the possession of these weapons,
00:14Jason Amisola of PTV Davao has the story.
00:19At 7.30am on Saturday morning, May 25,
00:23Captain Cresente Canada voluntarily surrendered his 21 licensed weapons
00:30to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group or CIDG Region 11.
00:35It was personally taken by Police Lieutenant Colonel Bernard Pagaduan
00:39and Police Major Edgardo Bahan.
00:42In a social media post, his lawyer said
00:45that this is a demonstration that there is no intention of making Canada an enemy
00:49and the other leader in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, the name above every name.
00:54The lawyer added that even though his license is valid for the possession of weapons,
00:58Canada chose to hand it over to the authorities.
01:01This is also in response to the emerging issue that his weapons are used to protect Pastor Apollo Q. Buloy.
01:08Because of this, the Police Regional Office 11 hopes that Q. Buloy will hand over the weapons to the authorities.
01:14Hopefully, they will surrender so that they will be able to file their cases against them.
01:22According to the Davao City Police Office,
01:24they have not stopped monitoring their tracker team,
01:27the possible suspects of Pastor and his other accomplices.
01:32In Davao City Police Office, at our level,
01:35we have not stopped monitoring our tracker team from the Kalina Police Station.
01:39At the Police Station, we have been monitoring the people of Pastor Q. Buloy
01:47so that they will be able to file their cases against them.
01:51It should be noted that Pastor Q. Buloy's five weapons were first surrendered on May 2 this year,
01:58but 14 of his weapons were already purchased.
02:01Aside from Canada and Pastor Q. Buloy,
02:03the co-accused, Jacqueline Roy, Pauline Canada, Ingrid Canada, and Silvia Semanas,
02:09are still wanted based on an arrest warrant issued under RTC Branch 159 in the case of trafficking.
